I actually love this item in my kitchen, it is a piece of furniture. It doesnt match anything in my kitchen, but that is ok, it fills a huge void I had right in the middle of my kitchen. It was a little bit of a challenge putting this together, it took 3 of us to do this, but when we finally got it up and standing, I was SO happy!
The Island looks great but I would have wanted more storage space but it is what it is. It actually got here a day earlier than they said which was good. My Daughter and I put it together. I dont like the cam locks they uses and when putting it together my daughter couldnt hold the back pieces up long enough and she dropped it and the plastic piece in the holes popped out. I screwed them back in but I am not sure it will stay. From that we learned to turn the base upside down and place it on top of the back and then screw it down, This helped a lot. Its only been up for a day so I hope it stays together.
My son and I put it together in an hour and a half. Beautiful wood top that matches my cabinets to a tee. Did lots of research and looking for the right island. Beautiful workmanship and sturdy. Love the leaf that will add room for two stools that I just ordered. My only complaint is that the doors didnt line up very well. Ill need to do some adjusting on the hinges, but overall very happy with the purchase. Definitely would recommend.
Loved everything about it. The wood matched my kitchen perfectly. It is very good quality. The top I use as my coffee bar. Inside I store my set of Temptations cookware
We have had this island in our kitchen going on 3 years now. We cook a lot and our kitchen wouldnt be functional without this. The shelves on the outside hold a lot/ on one side we keep our toddlers plates, bowls, and cups. On the other side we keep our cookbooks and recipe card box. We took a shelf down on one side to make it tall enough for the cookbooks. Storage on the inside is a big plus too, we have it loaded up.
It did come with some cosmetic damage/ it was chipped. We leave the leaf up all the time so that you cant see the chip/ it is pretty big but completely hidden with the leaf up, we didnt want to spend time and effort exchanging it.
The wooden top has got some wear and tear on it after almost 3 years of use, but I guess thats to be expected. Maybe we could refinish it and buff out the scratches?
Anyways tldr: came with minor cosmetic issue but we just leave the leaf up so it doesnt show, it has a lot of storage, it makes our kitchen functional. 4/5 just because of the chip it came with.
I am delighted with this kitchen island. This island is absolutely gorgeous. Its very sturdy and solid. I tried to put it together by myself but soon realized that this piece is too solid to handle by myself, so you do need a second person to help lift. The instructions are very straight forward and clear. Everything is packaged so unbelievably well and so protected. This island is so impressive and I am thrilled with my purchase. Nice Island

Sturdy, quality is good.
Little high in price, but satisfied overall, will look to buy matching chairs in a few months.
