This is a great bed frame, except mine arrived damaged. I took it out the box and one of the corners of the footboard was broken. Other than that, its a sturdy frame and well built. A great value for the money. Hoping the manufacturer can send a replacement footboard.
I was looking for a simple, sturdy platform bed that affords nice storage space beneath.
Things I love:
/ the combination of the black / wood base board
/ easy assembly
/ sturdy (have used for 10 months with no creaks or sturdiness issues from two adults)
/ able to fit some of the standard storage bins. I have a few that dont fit well (especially where theres a rug), but have the short/long under bed boxes and can stack those two high beneath. I also use this for soft/storage (suitcases, pillows, sleeping bags, etc). I try to keep things towards the head/board and away from the edge facing the door to minimize how much stuff can be seen under the bed from the side.
After being satisfied with this product, I bought a different Platform bed for another room and am equally satisfied!
Transitioned our toddler from the crib to this and its perfect. Its about a foot off the ground including an 8 mattress so rolling/falling off isnt a huge deal. Its surprisingly sturdy and easy to put together. Wife and I did it together in about 5 minutes. Just 6 simple bolts and its ready to go! Toddler loves it
Overall this bed is pretty sturdy and fairly simple to assemble. Comfortable for two 200+ lbs adults and a few dogs. Im surprised that after so many reviews pointing out that theyve received damaged/cracked wood panels, the issue hasnt been fixed. The box I received the frame is wasnt damaged whatsoever, so the issue has to be with how its manufactured or how its prepared for packaging. The crack isnt compromising to the structural integrity of the bed but it suck to receive a new product with damages already.
The excellent quality of material and design of this easy to assemble platform bed make it one that Im proud to use as day bed. Already having compliments with the trifold mattress as a finishing touch.

It was easy enough to put together but one of the boards cracked in getting on the bed after a few months.

Gebralter sturdy
Got the 6inch model. Has endured more thrust than apollo 13. Not a squeek. Dont expect anything to fit under this bad boy Lowrider.
