Very solidly built. The hardware is great for small spaces that you just want to spruce up. I want to use this hardware on all my closets now. It was a little challenging to figure out exactly how it goes up. There are lots of pieces. My contractor put it up and it took him longer than he thought but only because it was the first time he had ever seen a bifold barn door and he wanted to make sure he did it correctly. He was very impressed with the look and functionality of it when he was finished.
I have wanted a barn door for quite some time, but our old farmhouse doesnt have a wall large enough for one. Our bathroom reno required a bifold door, so this is perfect. I hung this one (the double) to match for our closet bifolds and got a single on Etsy. They are VERY sturdy and smooth operating. Be aware, though, that trim can cause an issue. My contractor had to retrofit them a bit for that reason. Am very pleased.
We bought this a few months ago and purposely waited to write a review. My husband is pretty handy and installed this himself. The bifold doors cover our laundry area and cleaning supplies. These doors are used multiple times on a daily basis and weve had zero issues. The track kit is very sturdy and strong! I was on the fence at first about buying this because there were minimal reviews and the ones that were posted were not very positive. So I decided to take the plunge, buy it, use it, and write my own review based on our experience. Im so glad we bought this! It functions perfectly each time and we receive many compliments on how it looks. This is a winner in my books!
I dont usually write reviews but those doors are so well made and along with the hardware gives you the best closet doors. I have already installed 3 and I have 5 more to do. 4 tracks of 371/2 and 4 tracks of 75. First one was a bit challenging as I never installed a barn door before. It came out perfect. The rest are easy.
Beautiful fixtures, perfect for what I was trying to accomplish. However, the instructions are just images not one word. Had to hire a handy man for 4 hrs to help me with the fine tuning at the end, after I had done all the work prepping the doors, installing the hinges, etc. In particular, the part where we need to drill the floor and line up holes is incredibly hard.
I was looking for some type of door for my stairway. There wasnt room for a doorframe and door. So glad I found this hardware for the bi/fold door. Looks great!
As another reviewer stated, the 4 lag screws (what holds up the entire door system) are waaaay too short. We installed this system mounting the rail onto a 1x6 top trim board over sheetrock. After reading another review, we immediately decided to not bother with the included lag screws and replaced them with 5 x 5/16 lag screws from Menards. All of the hardware is well made and heavy duty, so why did they skimp on the most important item? Maybe they dont have sheetrock as a common wall substrate where this door system is made. You absolutely need to get all 4 lag screws buried into either a stud or header or it wont be able to hold the weight of the doors. I love love the look and the operation of the doors is great! Beware if you are not mechanically inclined as the instructions are only pictures with some measurements (mostly in metric). My husband is very handy and definitely saved the project by doing some step/by/step figuring and measuring.

Beautiful doors but they will need to be adjusted somewhat to fit close to hide the gap.
In all we do love our purchase and will make it work in our kitchen. Make sure have a good contractor to put it up.
Use studs or header. Not the plastic anchors
You will HAVE to anchor to the wall studs or header. The plastic anchors will not cut it.
