I just received this today so I cant speak about durabilty but it is a nice sturdy and comfortable chair that looks great. I read a lot of other reviews that said it wasnt really a ...it is and that it is difficult to assemble...it isnt. I think the assembly issues are because the person doing the assembly didnt read and follow the directions. I am a 70 something female and had no problem. It took me about half an hour and I spent the most time looking for the correct bit for my socket wrench. I found the socket wrench a lot easier to use than the supplied hex wrench. I think the people complaining about the assembly either need to turn in their man card or read the directions.
Chair is comfortable and stylish however it had some flaws. It had black spots on seat and loose strings plus the top is lumpy. It definitely takes two people to put together because the holes where the screws go are not easy to line up. It took about 20 minutes with 2 people. I wasnt able to screw 1 in because no matter how hard you try the hole is in the wrong place. It wansnt an important one so its still sturdy. gave me a great credit for the flaws so Im more than happy
I wanted to love this chair. I am so sad that it is just not comfortable at all. I couldnt imagine buying it if I were tall or of larger stature. I should start by saying I looked for office chairs for a month or so. This chair seemed the best because it was shorter, and I am petite, and smaller than most. I am 53 and about 135 pounds. My other office chair was huge, and my feet barely touched the floor. However, this chair isnt any shorter. The seat is so short (coming from the back to front) I can feel the strain on my back muscles immediately after sitting in it. It just doesnt have enough support. It is stiff, the memory foam feels like wood. The arms, which I was hoping to be perfect for typing and resting my elbows on at the same time, are way too short for my elbows to reach. I am very disappointed overall. The assembly wasnt terrible if you read the instructions thoroughly. I am honestly thinking of sending it back. Hope this helps.
Many other reviews stated that this was not a chair, however mine came in a box and has tags. This didnt particularly matter to me, but wanted to include this information in my review. The chair itself was pretty easy to assemble by myself (female, petite-ish), I followed the directions that it came with and had it all done in about 30 minutes. it is a super comfortable chair thats nice and wide which is what I wanted so that I could sit cross-legged in it. The fabric texture is great, and the seat is nice and cushy. I was surprised by the amount of back support it has as well. It basically feels like youre sitting in a club chair on wheels. The height and tilt are adjustable, and was a nice upgrade from the stationary-type of chair that I had been using previously. Overall I am extremely happy with this chair - the price was great, it looks great, and it is very comfortable. Definitely recommend.
This chair is lovely, very stylish and easy to put together. However, the seat is pretty short in the length area and feels like I am tilting forward all day. The lean adjustment seems to be stuck or just for show because I cant lock the chairs tilt to compensate for the short seat. I think this would be great if you are under 57 or have shorter legs. The seat is comfy and cushy.
Looooove this chair. We remodeled my office and I needed a new comfortable chair that also wasnt the basic black. I searched for weeks on all the standard online stores and couldnt find one that was decently priced with good reviews. I decided to take a chance on this one and I am honestly glad I did. Its very comfortable and a great size, I like to fold my leg under me when I work and have no issues with room for that.
So far it is been great and I highly recommend it!
I purchased this because I have a chihuahua that wants to sit with me when I work and wanted extra room in seat so he can sit beside me. It is wide enough but arms are shorter than expected. That is the reason for 4 stars.
