Does the job and looks great! All the wholes dont match up well so a little hard to put together. I wish the bottom bed popped up to the hight of the other bed to make on big bed. The bottom bed also only comes with two wheels that lock so on tile the bed moves when you get on and off of it. For that price its a great set. however I would not recommend anyone buy this.
In the photo you see a hole. There should be a piece for a caster to screw into. I have a trundle that doesnt roll out. sent me to Sinus for support. Sinus said to contact the retailer . Circular support that isnt gets you a one star review. I had such high hopes. Guess Ill find a different brand for the other bedrooms. such a disappointment
Overall, the bed does its job for what I need it to do which is provide 2 beds while conserving space. Its easy to assemble and sturdy.
Issues:
1. Had to remove the wheels on the trundle bed portion. They are ball bearing wheels and one failed. I started to find small balls everywhere and having small children, I was deeply concerned that they may have ingested some. I contacted customer support and they were very responsive and quick to respond, however, all they did was send me replacement ball bearing wheels. Very worried that I would experience the same issue, I decided to leave the wheels off. Luckily the trundle isnt very heavy and slides across carpet easily.
2. There is nothing that holds the mattresses in the frames. The manufacturers solution to this issue was to put double sided tape on a few of the slats. I didnt find this acceptable, so I used some rope to strap the mattresses in. Seems that this problem could have easily been fixed with a very small design change like enlarge or raise the outside frame bars so they mattress would settle in a pocket. The issue with the rope mod is that it doesnt allow for sheets to fit correctly around the mattress.
3. The slats for each bed are thin bars. As you can only have relatively thin mattresses, you can often feel the bars underneath you. While this isnt a problem when youre lying down, it still is an issue. Quality of is very good other than this issue.
Im definately not pleased with the assembly. Ive had it about 6 months and in that time I have moved. In order to move it the whole bed has to be disassemble. The bottom bed wheels do not lock well and only one wheel has the lock so my kids basically use it as a giant skateboard in their room. Make sure your matress is thin or else it wont fit. Fitting it with a pillow on isnt possible. Since the matress has to be thin the kid weight on the bottom has to be limited bc its easy to feel the bars theough the matress. All around it was temporary fix. I wouldnt recommend. If shipping back a whole bed wasnt so difficult then I would have. Instead I chose to just eat the cost until I find something else. I would be returning
This bed was shipped with NO true packing to prevent damage in shipping! Unless you consider the 21 Prime white and blue envelopes they put I top of the bed items. The bed parts were marred, scratched and chipped due to the lack of protective packing! You need to purchase touch up paint. Which is near impossible to match. The bed is actually light weight and not extremely sturdy as other styles. (One person carried this package up 2 flights of stairs). The support for the bed mattress is not springs and if anyone was to jump into bed the bed slats would be compromised. Do NOT recommend.

Solid product with some issues

This bed was shipped with NO true packing to prevent damage in shipping! Unless you consider the 21 Prime white and blue envelopes they put I top of the bed items.
