The bed is solid and well built. It is a bit bigger than the mattress we bought for it, but the mattress specifications could be off. It was very easy to assemble and the instructions were, for the most part, clear. Definitely looks nice.
I bought 2 of these beds for my 4 year and 9 year old grandsons when they moved to their new house and couldnt use the bunk beds any longer. They are great quality and son in law said they were easy to put together. Its pretty though!
The quality of the wood was pretty good and instructions were fairly straightforward though they could be better labeled. There were some nicks in the wood probably from shipping but are largely unnoticeable. Perfect in every way.
Purchased about two months ago for my mother/in/law, and she absolutely loves it. It was easy to assemble with basic tools, lightweight enough to carry to the second floor, and good quality wood. It fits perfectly in her small apartment bedroom, and she loves having the storage space beneath. Purchased this with a hybrid spring coil mattress and she has been sleeping great ever since. Many.
