What a great chair! This chair is very nice / good quality leather, extremely comfortable, and so nice looking. The wooden bases on the chair and matching stool is really nice. At 459 I would definitely call this a bargain. I found it after seeing a similar one for 2K. Im very pleased with this purchase / and it arrived way sooner than the quoted date. I had it in a week after ordering.

Great product! It arrived in perfect condition. It was easy to assemble. Everything fitted well. Most of all, it is very comfortable. It is exactly as I expected. No complaints whatsoever. Happy to recommend the product.
Just what was described. Head rest allows my neck to remain straight which was what I needed to comfortably recline without my chin on my chest. Appears to be made with good craftsmanship and materials so it should last a long time.
Update: After 8 months of use, I can honestly say the foam used is not the best quality. The ottoman now will not recover its shape.where the feet rest , it is caved in. Chair is used by a person that weighs 120 lbs and is 56 tall. I suppose a person could replace the foam (there is a zipper on the cover ). Also find that sitting in this chair more than 2 hours is uncomfortable on back and buttocks. I have placed latex pillows on the chair seat and chair back to make it more comfortable. Chair has no lumbar support. Other than that, it still looks okay but the pillows detract from its modern appearance.

the provided Allen wrench is of little use, when you attach the arms. Its a tight fit and a PITA. I put this together without any help, you can too. I laid the chair on its side/to screw on the arms, no way that was gonna happen otherwise. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say about this chair. Its not a sink into type of chair, the seat and the back are firm, which is exactly what I wanted. The chair is nicely made, no loose threads, no scuffs or scratches, no funky odors. It was packed very well/both the chair and ottoman in one big box, that fit easily through my front door. I like the small footprint of this chair, it looks great in my home office. Its an okayish good product.

After reading reviews from satisfied customers and admiring the comfortable looking lines of the chair, I decided to order the Newport. Love the taupe color, the comfort, the ease in getting up, and the swivel feature. The foot stool is comfortable in either direction and is easy to move. I will use a small pillow for additional lumbar support. It was easy to assemble / four hands make it easier to align screws. It arrived with a slightly damaged shipping box. The two bases had some minor issues. Lamps Plus was on top of things and sent replacements when I contacted them by email. With all the current COVID issues in communication, there was a little confusion about the replacement parts sent and I ended up with two brand new foot stools. I didnt want to wait for more parts and decided to just put it together with the damaged bases. The small dents were not even visible. Taped up the replacement box and Lamps Plus had FedEx pick it up. Everyone was super helpful and I love the chair. I will definitely look at Lamps Plus first in the future because of their superior customer service.
