Sought an inexpensive, temporary file for household papers. This was perfect: decently made, arrived with no dents or nicks. Drawers function smoothly. Since its lighter weight, you need to try to distribute weight evenly back-to-front and upper vs.lower. Handle it gently, and it does an admirable job for the money. Its a keeper.
Horrified at the prices for a 4-drawer vertical cabinet, I ordered two of these on the off-chance that they could be stacked. Im happy to report that they can, although being in earthquake country, I took the precaution of putting a triple layer of pebbly shelf liner in between to keep the top unit sliding off during the next tremor. The design is such that one has to look closely to know this 4-drawer unit is really a two on two.
Unlike others have reported, thanks to several inches of styrofoam around all edges and corners, both units arrived undented and unscratched. However, attaching the handles is a bit tricky, but much easier if you pre-screw (and then remove) each screw into its post before attempting to do it through the drawer front. Also unlike others have reported, the screws that came with my units were the correct length and did not require washers to make the connection tight.
This is a pretty decent file cabinet for a very reasonable price. Takes a little assembling, but nothing serious or time consuming. Packaging was great.

Very happy with this filing cabinet. It came in good condition and did not need assembly except for the handle which were really easy to attach.

Good Cabinet But Needed Folder Holder
They arrived on time and good quality. I had to buy some wire to make a way to hold the folders i place. That was one thing I wish it had included.
