Very nice item, well made and sturdy. We bought 2 of these. Very easy to assemble but other reviews complained of screws breaking and the last one we tried to put in went in almost all the way then broke off. We could not remove it so had to drill an additional hole and used one of our own screws. Unfortunately, we have often found screws made in China to be poor quality. The extra hole is ok for what we are using this for, but I would have to use wood filler and paint to repair where we had to drill an additional hole. fortunately, the one that broke off was just under the seat, so is probably less noticeable. My suggestion- use your own hardward or be very careful when putting these screws in if that is possible.
Some of the finishing parts dont fit properly, the some of holes r too big the they slide right to the back of the hole instead of sitting where they should. Also missing a couple of them...so the stools look unfinished.
The height is perfect for the counter, seem sturdy, comfy enough.
These stools are super nice for the price. I had no issues with assembling, other than one broken screw (extras would be nice). I used an impact drill and had all 6 together in lass than an hour. They were packaged nice and had no damage on them as some other reviewers noted. Perfect for our kitchen remodel.

But the stools are actual wood, the seat is are sincerely impressive. Super well made super pretty, I am super happy with this purchase!

The product was great for the price point, easy to assemble, perfect height. Just some of the finish on the actual seats was not great. I have to order a third set just to get one more good seat to make 4. That was the only downfall.
