Watch for s descriptions, they are standard for a line of Tents not specific to this tent or others, even thought they have since changed the description, when I purchased this tent it stated it had a Electrical Access Entry (camp port for an electrical cord) - IT DOES NOT. This feature along with the screened porch were my deciding reasons for the purchase. I used it for the first time yesterday, we had heavy rains and I did get some puddles inside the tent, but all things considered, not bad at all. Other than the camp port NOT on this tent, I really like it and would recommend sealing the seams.
The problem with this tent turns out to be the screened in section. It is absolutely fabulous until the first time it rains. Then it forms a quaint little swimming hole to pass the through when you want to enter or exit. Ended up pulling the stakes and folding it tight up against the main cabin.
It is a GREAT tent as far as space and the screened room. The ventilation was good even with the cover part on top. We used the tent once before one of the poles snapped in half- we werent rough with it and we used it for ONE night while camping- no rain, no crazy wind, nothing fell on it. I was disappointed about the quality of the pole- however, because of their rep, I decided to get a replacement tent since I liked everything else about it. I HOPE it was a fluke. I know I could have had the pole warranted but it would require me to pay for shipping to via an insured package- not the best policy IMO. I would have been more than happy to sent it with THEIR shipping label..
I LOVED the sun room. We used it camping on the beach this weekend. It did not stand up to the wind great. We were camping on sand, so the stakes did not stay in great, and the rainfly basically just pushed into the tent, halving the space inside. When I took the rainfly off it was much better. That said, with the rainfly off, the entire back is completely exposed so there isnt any privacy and all of the sun comes in. Overall, Im still happy with the purchase and would do it again, but go in with open eyes.
Set up was easy. Bigger than it looks in pictures with TONS of room for our family of three. However, after sleeping in it just one night one of the main poles broke! The string just sheared in two somewhere in the mid part of the pole. Contacted who says they dont have a replacement pole, just a repair kit. Not sure how one is suppose to repair a tension rod that is nine feet long. Well see....
While camping in this tent we got some heavy rain. The downfall I did not like about this tent is that the rain was coming in the screened in porch area do to the fact that the rainfly is not long enough and does not cover the whole screened in porch area. The whole screened in area got wet which caused tent to get very mildewy. This tent is great accept for the screened in porch area getting wet when it rains. The tent is very spacious inside and kept everythign inside nice and dry when it did rain
Great size, easy to set up. Not good in wet conditions. Used it once during light rain, woke up the next morning with a descent sized puddle inside the tent.
firstly I really love the design and therefore shipped it all the way to Singapore (shipping cost me US$100+).
BUT, on the first night with heavy rain and strong wind from 1 side for around 3 hours, the sleeping area are flooded with water although with rain fly properly secured!!!
Well , this is my first time buying tent and i did not treat it with any sealer. The water actually dripping from the line with stitches (niddle hole) -the line between green color and white color (as the wind blow from window side) as well as the line between green color and the gray color base.
All my bags, clothes and mobile phones i put on floor are wet. I put 2 queen air beds which i bought from as well and when i flip one of the bed, the whole bed area are all with water (the side with water dripping).
Actually I am not sure how come some of the customers said they didnt treat it with sealer but totally dry!!??
I will give it a try for another time and will put a lot of sealer this time to see if it work, else i will have to return this best designed tent to . Will update the review again after my 2nd trip.

When there was the rain, the water got inside the tent and we could feel the water on the fabric, it is not 100% water resistant.
not bad at all

Great tent as long as the weathers good.

Sleeping area totally wet !!!(at least 2 cup of amount of rain water dripping in)

Plenty of space for 4. Too cold for fall camping.
Easy to setup. Nice tent in summer. But not a good choice in fall or spring if you are afraid of coldness in the night or early morning.
