Can I replace with black after the one month window?

I purchased this beautiful piece for a bathroom remodel job. It took longer than expextand now the chrome finish wont be ideal. The reform window closed a few days ago hut Im asking if I can replace it with the black finish. Product still in box unused. Thanks

    Arm too short

The only problem I find is that the arm coming out of the wall is kind of short. You would have to stand too close to wall and faucets to enjoy the rain fall feature. Hoping the is a longer arm so I don't have to return. Please let me know as soon as possible Thank You Al Grancagnolo.

    THREADED CONNECTIONS

I recently installed two of these in my bathroom. Unpacking them I noticed how heavy duty they were and the quality of the chrome plating was exceptional. The installation was fairly simple so that wasn't an issue. Problem that I had was that the threaded connections (5 out of 8) leaked after I installed them, I used copper pipe with sweat fittings. After fabricating the pipe into the 1/2 MIP x sweat adapters, I used the tape dope that came with the valves and screwed the adapters into the valves tight enough to where they shouldn't drip. After that I installed the copper pipe and sweat fittings and turned the water on. There were no leaks at first so I put all my tools away and went on with my day. After a few hours I went into the bathroom and noticed beads of water on five of the eight adapters and had to repair these as the walls were going up the next day. My recommendation is to throw away the tape dope they give you and use a quality type Teflon tape and then really crank down on those adapters to ensure that there are no leaks afterwards.
