The good:
This sofa is incredibly cute and reasonably priced considering the chaise storage and pullout. It is small and looks great in my tiny living room. The chaise is large, and is super convenient if you dont have much storage at home like I do. The pullout bed is easy to maneuver, and gives me the option to put my feet up or have a guest visit. Looks high quality!
Also, its very easy to put this together. I put assembled it by myself and only used a power drill.
The not so good:
I can confirm from other reviews that this couch is firm, so I wouldnt recommend if comfort is your top priority. Its slightly comfier than a futon in my opinion. I personally wanted something that looks good at an affordable price and would fit in my small apartment.
It comes in 3 large shipments with 2 of those boxes being 80 and 90 lbs, so asking a friend to help carry inside is a good idea.
Love this couch! The fabric is soft, low pile and a slight marbled grey, and I love the tucks and studs details. Not too squishy, but comfortable and supportive. This color also works well with a variety of color schemes. You definitely want 2 (maybe 3) people to put this together. The instructions that come with it are less than helpful but the video in the listing is better. There are brackets on the sides to drop the arm piece on one and the chaise on the other//thats where a 3rd person wouldve been helpful but 2 of us made it work. The holes for the wheels arent predrilled so get the power drill out, but its quite easy. Im looking forward to pulling the trundle out/up and stretching out for movie night Pet owners//the few times my cat has clearly been on it and left fur its been very easy to kind of wipe off, unlike my microfiber couch that practically absorbed fur. I dont think shes clawed it yet but hoping the mid/light color will hide any scratch marks.
This sectional is exactly the size, shape and comfort my wife and I were looking for. After assembling which was relatively easy, we placed it in middle of our living room. The unit is sitting in the middle of the room with nothing placed on the back side of the section. We loved the comfort it gave us while we sitting and taken a nap on it.
Until our two year old got on it and was climbing around the back support is when we discover an critical issue. Between the back support, there is a gap. The gap is sufficiently large that a toddles neck could be accidently fall into and trap in between. Because we dont have any sitting on the back side of the sectional, a toddle could fall and trap his neck with the body falling on the back side of the back support. While our 2yr old did not fall into this case, she did get her neck into the slot with her body on the cushion side. We were lucky that we were sitting with her when this happened. Since then, we have move the section with the back side sitting against the wall; so she would not have the chance of falling on the back side of the sectional.
We love the sectional and the comfort of it. However, anyone with a toddler might want to take note of this issue. If you still love it as we are, Have something on the back side or place it next to a wall to be safe. Hope this helps anyone else with a kids and consider this sectional.
So wonderful to enjoy the simplicity of the bed mechanism no unfolding a cumbersome regular sofa bed. Yes it is not cushy but thats ok. Looks high quality. Very hard to slide pieces together. Love the flexibility of chaise on either side.
Half the price of Wayfair, same product.
This was actually a bit smaller than I expected, so I will definitely need another recliner to go with.
It took no time at all to assemble.
We all find it to be fairly comfortable. The seats are a bit hard, but I suspect they will soften a bit with use.
