Awesome purchase for the price! Sturdy and very easy to put together. It was my husband and I but if you only has one person it would be doable, it would just take longer.
Wasn’t complicated to put together, you will need two people to be more efficient putting it together. The condition they are in are great also and the don’t look cheap.
Always a kind of chemical smell, strong.
A little bit worry, so oredred and purachase a formaldehyde test kit.
Test kits told us thats no problem.
But, smell still there, especially when the room temperature is high.
My teenage boys love it. It was easy for them to put together with very little adult help. They find it to be very sturdy considering that theyre high school boys. And I find it works very well in a small space and is very appealing to look at.
I love these little bunk beds! My son is 5 and my daughter will be 2 in a few weeks and this bed is PERFECT for them!
As far as assembly, my husband did most of it. He expected it to be pretty challenging but it wasn’t really too bad. I think it took him 3 or 4 hours total. I helped get the top bunk on top of the lower bunk but mostly he did everything solo. For the record I was 37 weeks pregnant at the time and lifting it was no problem. We did opt to have a few boards cut to size at the local box store (see picture). It took two cuts— first two are free so that worked out. They did run us about $25 a piece so that brought the total price up a bit. We feel this not only looks better from the bottom bunk but also makes the whole bed more sturdy and keeps the mattress from getting damaged on the slats. We also opted for 6 inch mattresses from here on .
I really like that the bottom bunk is directly on the floor, great for my very young daughter but also keeps stuff from accumulating under the bed. I also like that the top bunk is not too high off the ground. Definitely peace of mind having two little ones in there alone that worst case scenario no one would fall more than 4-5 feet. My daughter can’t climb all the way up the ladder yet but my 5 year old has no problem getting up and down. As far as the bottom bunk, yes it’s tight down there. Pretty low head clearance— but it’s worth noting in a normal bunk bed that’s the way it is on the top bunk. I think the ideal age for the bottom would be between 2-5 years old. We had a loft bed before and I couldn’t tuck my son in or kiss him goodnight plus making the bed was a bit*h. These are easy enough to make and I love that he’s kiss level. I also like that these can be used apart when the kids are older should we decide to keep them and use them that way. It’s always nice to have options
As most other reviewers noted the wood will come flawed (cracks, scrapes, etc). Husband wasn’t expecting it and was a little miffed but ultimately it’s not a big deal and not very noticeable.
This did not come with the clearest instructions at all. The pieces have a sticker on them with each corresponding letter according to the manual, however some of the letters were faded and we had to play a guessing game to make sure we did it correct. A week after I purchased this it went down in price making things even worst. Too lazy to take everything apart and try to return, not to mention they charge you a fee to return. I wouldn’t highly recommend this at all. It’s very basic starter bed and get the bunkie board or you’ll ruin your mattress’s.
The instructions were easy to follow and luckily all of the parts were there. It was a quick set up and worked great with the bunk bed set we purchased as well. I’d recommend this with the bunk.

My twins love this bunk bed. Easy to put together and very sturdy. Should outlast them sleeping in it.
