Honestly for the price, this is such a steal! Its beautiful and super practical. The gas lifts were a little confusing to figure out. My sister and boyfriend were both convinced they were broken and Id need to ask for replacements. But I played around with it and got them to work! The trick was you definitely needed the weight of the medal bars to get the lifts to work. I agree with others that I wish the headboard was slightly taller. But whatever its awesome! I also chose not to use the big black liners for the storage because I needed the extra inches under to store more things.
I constantly have people impressed cuz they have never seen a lift-storage bed. And they assumed I spent upwards of $800!!

This full size bed with under storage is exactly the type of bed we were looking for. It takes a little longer to assemble but easily understood instructions are enclosed. This bed looks great in black leather (faux) and certainly looks more expensive than it actually is.
I love this bed! Took me 2.5 hours to put together by myself. I used a chair to support one side when two people would have been helpful. Directions were easy to follow, all parts clearly labeled. My only suggestion would be to toss the hex wrench it comes with and use one with a handle. This is my third kit purchase and I can say kudos to how well labeled everything was. I am in a tiny retirement home with just two and a half closets. The storage in this bed is great. And the height is perfect for me. Like everyone says, its not grey which makes me happy. I like the taupe color.

the included hex tool is way too short. 4 hours 1 person. Aching back. bloody knuckles.Knee pads and back brace instructions Forget to tell you to tighten the 1st corner attachments. Legs too short for rhumba to vacuum under so I removed them. The bolt strip so there's no removing them after tightening
I was a little concerned about this after reading some of the negative reviews - but I received all parts and it looks great!
1. Great packaging of all the screws and bolts shrinked wrapped on to one sheet.
2. All parts are clearly labeled and assembly is straight forward
3. Took me 3 hours, not the 1.5 hours assembly time listed
4. Huge storage space, easily fit several full duffke bags
5. I dont understand the issue with people complaining about the bent middle support rod, me (130lbs) boyfriend (185lbs) - no issues
6. Airlifts were a little stiff first few times but works smoothly now. Sounds like previous reviews issues a little exaggerated?
The assembly took me 12-15 hours spread of parts of 3 days. I could have saved 2 hours if the instructions had included an explicit warning in regards the right way to attach the feet. One way works, the other not so much. Very important to observe the warning not to prematurely tighten the assembled parts you put together along the way since you will need to begin with a little slack toward the end of the process to snug the subassemblies together where they join at the corners. You will achieve a very tight fit. For self-assembled furniture, I think this product is superior in terms of design and construction. Very well thought out, except as mentioned above. I needed a second pair of hands only to attach the pistons. This mechanism works well in offsetting the weight of an 11queen size mattress when raising and lowering. Otherwise the installation was a one person job. I've been sleeping on this bed for a month and half and have no issues whatsoever. No squeaks, no rattles, no nothing.
This is the best bed frame I've ever had. It is a nice neutral khaki grey color. Goes with everything. No squeeks, or rattles- very solid. Assembly is absolutely a 2 person job, but can be done in an hour and a half to two hours. The lift mechanism can be a little stiff on first assembling, but with a mattress on, an adult can easily lift and lower with a little effort. Excellent storage space. Comes with a removable bottom for storage so you don't have to put thing on the floor. We chose not to use the bottom however, which allows for just enough clearance for clear plastic totes.
And this bed saved us from having a home robbery turn out much worse. We store our fire proof safe box under our bed, which holds important documents like passports, birth certificates, Social Security cards and about $1000 of emergency money. When our home was robbed, they went through every room and every drawer, taking countless valuables. It was devastating. But they did NOT look under the bed. Because it was not obvious that the bed lifted and the side panels go all the way to the ground, I assume they didn't know there was storage under there. And our safe box with all our sensitive documents and cash were spared. We were fortunate to have insurance that covered the stolen items. But without a doubt, identity theft and stolen cash would have taken this tragedy to another level and made things far worse for much longer. We are so thankful.
