I do like this and it looks great for what I am using it for, but you should know this isnt exactly weight bearing. I put it together, and feeling confidant about it I sat on it. (after all it has the word bench in it). At 135lbs I heard it crack as I sat! I got up immediately as to not break the piece that I just put together. I didnt see any damage, but I dont plan to actually use this as a sitting bench!
This storage solved the issue of shoes by the door and its easily accessible for my 3 year old to access his own basket. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the baskets are creating visible wear and tear from sliding them in and out; however, I would still probably buy this again.
Better build quality than we were expecting. Easy to put together. We live in northern New England and do not have a mud room. Thrilled that this unit fits nicely in narrow hall coming in from garage. Bench is sturdy when sitting and putting boots on. Bought a waterproof liner so boots can be stored on bottom shelf. (Holds 4 sets of boots.) Bought 2 baskets for upper shelf to store hats/mittens.
This is a really nice piece of furniture. Heavy wood. Good finish. Well-made. Very attractive. Baskets are good quality, too. Great for the price. Needed a man to help me put it together. Im using it in the living room. Extremely practical, especially when you need to do a quick clean-up or have extra company. Would be great for the bedroom, too. I highly recommend it

Plenty of space, looks great, was easy to assemble. Everything you could want in a storage bench.

For the price, this is a great entry way bench. It holds baskets of gloves, scarves, and still has room for socks and shoes.
