The bench went together very easy. All of the parts were clearly labelled and the instructions were easy to follow. There are two levels at which you can set the shelf. If you go with the higher location it is the perfect height for placing a pair of mens shoes with enough space for baskets on the bottom. The color has a slight red tone to it, but that seems to be reflected in the picture. The back is a thin particle board but it looks and fits nicely together. Great for the price!
For the price, this is a pretty good piece of furniture. The baskets were a little scratchy so I ended up putting felt on the bottom to make them slide a bit better. The top of it is difficult to find a cushion for, so I do wish it came with one. Overall, I am happy with this piece, it looks very nice in our entryway and provides plenty of useful storage.
This little bench is perfect for my entry. Nicely made and assembly was easy. Im very happy with it. Nice finish, good materials. Looks just like the photo.

I really like the bench and it was easy to put together.however, it was missing 8 of the necessary screws (for the baskets) and one side of the bench didnt have the proper pre-drilled holes needed to put it together (we just drilled our own so it works but was a little frustrating when everything was not included for assembly.
Very happy with this bench. We are actually using it for a TV stand in our bedroom. Very good quality and very easy to assemble.
I will use the baskets for sock and slipper drawers.
I was looking for a narrower bench that would fit against the wall behind my front door and had a rich, redwood color. This bench does both of those things. Putting it together was pretty easy. I was disappointed to find a long scratch across the top bench, but it isnt too noticeable. Also, the thin board the covers the back of the unit was a little too long, I had to trim it down so that the sides of the bench would fit together snugly. Unfortunately, I trimmed it a little too much, so there is a little gap. The unit is sturdy, though it does have side to side movement if you sit down and shift your weight from side to side. All in all, this was about what I expected for the price.
