This is very well constructed and easier to assemble compared to many other items I have bought. The instructions are well written and easy to follow with well laid out holes for assembly. Its very sturdy and holds about 8 pairs of adult shoes. Definitely a good buy for us.

Bench looks great once up, the reason for the 3 stars are the assembly. A lot of the holes do not line up - actually had to put a few more in. Make sure you do not tighten the sections as you go, tighten all only when you have it together. Also, the cushion slides alot - someone did mention command strips, but that would hinder how wide you could open it up.

The picture in step 3 does not go in the same direction as the actual item, being a lefty I figured it out quickly. Just follow instructions and youll be good. 2 be really careful putting the screws in, Its only particle board after all. Took about 30 minutes. I love it (I actually bought 2)
This shoe cabinet works perfectly in my small entryway. The height worked out just right to fit under my window. Its good quality, the drawers open and close smoothly and it looks great. For adult shoes you can get 2 pairs of sneakers or crocs per row, 3 pairs of big kids shoes and probably 4 pairs of toddler shoes. The cushion doesnt attach which doesnt work great with a toddler but Ill probably easily resolve that with some stick on velcro strips.
I like the size. It had some damage but I wasnt going to take it apart to be able to return it so I kept it. Assembly was OK. Not the easiest, but not the hardest Ive ever done. Doesnt feel real sturdy, but not flimsy either. Instructions had no helpful hints to figure correct positioning of pieces.

Great storage for shoes
This bench is absolutely perfect for my front door. I really wanted something comfortable to sit on while taking off or putting on shoes.
