My daughter wanted a lofted bed for her 7th bday and I wanted to find one that utilized the most space. I found this one that was raised higher than most loft beds. We were super excited and couldn't wait to put it together.
First off the directions were all in pictures and at times, difficult to comprehend. Second, the little pieces (dowels) that go in the holes to connect the pieces of wood together DID NOT FIT. The directions stated that it needed to be hammered in, however those holes that were drilled in to the wood were too big so the pieces wouldn't stay in place when trying to put it together. Third, let's talk about the stairs. The slats in the stairs are also super unsafe as the dowels wouldn't fit properly in there as well. I also felt that the flimsiness of the stairs were scary when climbing bc even when tightening them down, the stairs will still move depending on the person climbing.
The whole ENTIRE BED IS WOBBLY. Doesn't matter how many people it took to assemble, disassemble, and reassemble. It still came out SUPER WOBBLY. We were extremely disappointed in this product, especially the amount of money we spent. I wish I could give it zero stars.
I will admit that I did not attempt to contact seller or in regards to this trouble. The reason for that is because we had already done damage trying to get it to work the first time putting it together and all the time we spent taking it down and redoing it, caused more damage. It wasn't worth the fight and the hassle. We managed to make it work for that time being.
This bed is not safe for your children. If you do your research, you will see that there are actually several reviews on this bed being a bust. Just do yourself and your kids a favor and look for another product.
Love this bed. My boy loves this bed. He will be 3 in August. Only drawback is the slide is really slick. It took a week or so for my boy to adjust to it. The only other thing to note is that if you don't have a mattress when this is assembled the plank boards that act as the boxspring may bow a little when stepped on directly. My boy is 28 lbs. Made me a little nervous, wasn't sure if that was supposed to happen or not. Since putting on the mattress when I received it haven't had an issues with the bed itself. Now if I can just get the child to stay in the bed. Lol
Edit: Now that my boy has had this bed for 8 months, the planks supporting the mattress have become very squeaky and disruptive to my son trying to settle and go to sleep. I will be having a friend Secure each individual plank instead of the 4 that are secured per instructions to hopefully remedy the issue. My son is now 30 lbs. I have found that all the wood and slide can easily be drawn on with chalk and wipes off easy. On the same note of chalk I have not been able to find a chalk board eraser yet that works well on the attached chalk board. When I move in February I will likely donate this bed and get him a new one. Long term this bed isn't designed to last.
Highly recommend this bed for any toddler or youngster whod enjoy a play area underneath. My grandson loves it. I love how sturdy it is and its a perfect height for a 3 year old.
I absolutely love this bed and so does my daughter ! She has a pretty small room so this gives her all of her floor space to play with her toys. Ir was fairly easy to assemble i was able to do it alone in about a hour and a half
Really happy with it. Took off a star because it came in a huge box that was damaged. UPS guy was not happy that he had it and almost didnt want to get it out of the truck. Thankfully the bed parts were good. Missing a few screws in the preassembled rail. But over all it was a perfect fit for 7yo to have her bed and desk now for schooling
Packaging was intact but one of the pieces for the head rail was cracked upon arrival. The side rail could use some additional support, wouldn't recommend putting full weight on side rail when climbing the ladder.

We have love this bedroom addition. The only thing is that the slide is a little more steep than the photos show.
