It was perfect except the color wasnt espresso as advertised. Luckily for me it matched other furniture I had and worked out well anyway. I am happy with the quality but weary about purchasing anything else from this brand due to the other reviews of color issues also.
I love the look of and sturdiness of this bed but when it arrived the wood was orange and looked nothing like the pictures. I knew after reading other reviews that it was a slight gamble that this might happen and we just so happened to get one of the crazy orange stained ones. So like another reviewer I sanded and stained it. It did take 4 good times over with the sander and still the orange was not all of the way gone but it was enough to change the overall tone. I called and let them know and they did not give an allowance like they did for the other reviewer. They just said Id have to return it. But then Id risk another orange one later. So I just went with it. Overall I like the bed and am happy it just took a little time and muscle.
Cheap product! It arrived broken. I thought it would be an easy fix with customer service to get a replacement part but its been a nightmare! Its been a two month ordeal of back and forth nonsense! Do not buy from if you value quality!
Update - after a lot of discussion the company did issue a refund. Thank you.
I did not have any of the problems other have reported. Assembly was very simple and easy to do by yourself. The bed is sturdy, granted I havent used it for any activities. It is super low to the floor as others have reported which is kind of lame, but it does the job. Im able to get in and out of it without issues. Im happy with the purchase.
We bought two of these beds for our sons shared bedroom. The beds are very attractive. The instructions were great and they were easy to assemble. The beds are lower to the ground than I was anticipating. One of the beds , we discovered, after we were nearly finished assembling them, has a dent in the top metal piece of the headboard. I, immediately, contacted the company for a replacement piece. They said that they could replace that piece if it was anywhere besides for the headboard. It was a very frustrating experience dealing with the company (). I, then, contacted and they said that I could box the bed up and ship it back to them. After having it assembled that seemed nearly impossible to get it back into the box. So we ended up flipping the headboard so that the dent is on the back side. So overall I am pleased with the bed in appearance and quality, but just know that if you have a problem that the company is not very willing to help even though it says to contact them directly for any replacement pieces.

Nice quality and easy to assemble.
My 25 year old son put this together in a couple hours going at a leisurely pace. Looks great and is just the right low profile height that he wanted.
Good item just need to improve quality control.
Some parts came a little bit twisted, had to fix it by my own.
