Beautiful bed. Easy to assemble. Unfortunately, we didnt notice until nearly done with assembly (while attaching the headboard) that there were were 2 major dents/divets in the main headboard slab of wood (one on each side). We picked the side that was less-damaged to face forward. Frankly I did not want to box everything up and deal with a return/exchange for it. The pillows cover the majority of the damaged section but for a brand new bed, there should not have been ANY damage.
I was quite pleased to see how quickly this came together tho it might have been useful for the to have recommended a second pair of hands for the heavy lifting.
My complaint is about the wood; it came with a distinctly orange-y cast to it which I hope I can mask with a couple of coats of light stain but the photo definitely didnt show that!
Seems sturdy, has extra slats but, as forewarned, it sits quite low. I doubt that youd be able to get anything under the bed. I will look for some workable risers and see if that helps.
Sturdy and modern-design bed frame. Relatively priced, easy to assemble. No need for a box spring. Very low to the ground FYI. Took away a star as the wood on the backside is very cheap and needed to be touched up a bit upon arrival.
I ordered this bed frame after reading other reviews I knew that there would be a chance that the wood portions of the frame could be cracked or damaged. My main concern is that others had mentioned that the metal components were sometimes missing drilled holes or that the parts were different lengths. Upon opening the package i made sure all parts were included, and they were. I did notice some damage on the wood that was already preinstalled on the foot portion of the bed frame (See pic). The metal components were perfect. Once assembled it was sturdy an i was overall happy with the quality. The main reason the damage on the wood didnt bother me so much is i knew i was going to alter those pieces or replace them completely if alteration failed. I wanted a more weathered and gray look. So i sanded the wood portions down, and applied a weathering stain. Once completed i am very happy with the bed frame. Still if i hadnt planned on altering the wood, i would have been very upset at the damage.
In regards to shipping, it stated that the product was in stock. I ordered on a Saturday and i received the bed frame on Wednesday (4 days)
Frame seems good, no real issues.
I banged my knee on the corner of the metal of the foot-board trying to get through the room too quick and it put a huge gouge in my knee that is still healing 4 months later. I would definitely not use this for a kids room or anywhere where rough-housing may occur.
But, as long as you are careful around it and/or get some rubber corner covers its a great frame and overall, Im happy with it.
This arrived in a timely manner. All of the materials are of good quality and the frame is very sturdy. Assembly was easy with two people. I do wish there was an option to have had this same frame but a little higher off the ground so we could have gotten rid of our box springs. Without the box spring we felt the bed was much too low to the ground, so now the headboard is mostly covered by our mattress/pillows. The style and overall look are simple and rustic. Overall very happy.
Overall, we really like this bed. It looks nice, was easy to assemble, and we have not had any issues with creaking or wobbling. I ALWAYS have an issue with stubbing my toe on things and have not done so with this frame.
The only issue is that one of the points where the frame fits together was dented, so we could not put the pieces together. My fiance ended up snapping a piece of it off trying to hammer it out. Luckily, this did not impact the assembly or durability of the bed (so far).
Its sturdy.. BUT know this bed sits VERY LOW. I was not expecting it to be so low to the ground But other than that, its a very nice bed construction and easy to put together

Nice price but way too low. Need 12 inch mattress for sure.
