I love the look of this bed frame, but it is NOISY. Maybe its not really the best bed for a king size? It took my husband a while to put together, and hes a contractor. One shift on the bed, makes a loud noise of metal hitting.
The bed is very well priced, but you also get what you paid for. The assembly was very easy with simple step by step instructions and ratchet tool included, that was also helpful in assembly. Most of the pieces fit very well but some spots, i.e. assembling headboard piece into base, required a little tug and pull and some ooomph to get it in place. The color of the footboard and headbord wood pieces DO NOT match the advertised picture. The wood is cheap, orangy-looking that we decided to cover up with decor pieces rather than go through hassle of returning the bed. Overall, its not a bad bed for spare bedroom.
This product is sleek, clean, sturdy and aesthetic. Assembly is simple and easy plus they even provide a micro ratchet. However the instructions incorporate numbers and letters whereas the actual parts pertaining to the instructions are only labeled with numbers. This is a minor inconvience and easy to fix, before you start, lay out all of your parts and familiarize yourself with the diagrams. All in all a phenominal piece of bedroom furniture at a price that is more than acceptable.
Definitely does not work with a pillow top mattress and box springs! Super easy to put together. I did most of the assembly by myself, but asked my hubby to help lower the headboard down. The assembly took about an hour. Very clear instructions and every item was numbered clearly.
Good piece. But the back board is too fragile. I have rugged floors and he board got an indentation. Its made of poor wood quality. You could be lucky and not make a hole (I though I was going to be lucky), but you could also end up with a holed bed.
I was delivered a damaged headboard - cracked on two parts of the surface. The cracks are deep and also show on the back side of the headboard. The metal frames seem sturdy enough, but installation without a proper headboard isnt possible.
We just assembled these beds. They came packed nicely and were easy to put together. They are for my 11 year old sons. These beds are well made and sturdy. The only negative for me is that I underestimated how low they would sit. Thats my fault because it clearly states they are only 7in high. My kids love them though.

Really easy to install and its a heavy duty bed
It was an easy installation and a heavy duty bed, one of the cons is that it is a little low bed.
