After I initially ordered a similar unit, only to have the mfg cancel the order (I suspect it was due to their price increase right after I ordered), I purchased this unit - hoping the quality would be decent. Well, it is perfect. Not only is it quiet, but it is solid as a rock; and assembly was flawless. It even arrived sooner than expected. Great purchase. I did give it 4/5 for maneuverability on my carpet; but that was easily remedied with plastic skid pads. As another reviewer pointed out, the legs come straight down at the perimeter, so if you tend to be in a hurry, I recommend pool noodles (or rubiflex piping sleeves) from the hardware store.
Seems to be sturdy and its really easy to put together once you get past the fact the directions are worthless and the part list is not entirely correct. Takes about 20-30 minutes to put together!
Assembly is not really difficult, but I only gave it 4 stars because I can just imagine some poor single parent trying to put it together by themself. All you need is an Allen wrench and a small wrench which are both included, but it takes about 15 minutes. Really not difficult at all, just not as easy as unfolding it as I have experienced with other (less sturdy) platforms. The assembly time is worth it because the finished product is very study and easy to move. Highly recommend.
