Futon was very easy to assemble. The material of the couch is so soft. Color is great too. Ive had it for over a month and have slept on it for four straight nights. Im on the heavier side and 58. I used a one inch foam mattress as well and I had some great night sleeps. There is a bar going all the way down the middle of the futon that you can feel even with the foam mattress (hence the 4 stars) but I sleep on my side so I laid on either side of it.
You will have to buy a pillow top because you feel the metal bars but, other then that its good. Also they didnt deliver it to my door. They sat it by my downstairs neighbors.
I use this chaise every day because I need to sleep with my upper body elevated. This works well for me. It was an inexpensive alternative to an adjustable bed. I do wish it was a few inches higher off the floor. I did have to add some cushioning to make sleeping more comfortable.
I purchased the Emily Chase futon. I assembled myself Im 10 minutes. Perfect for my chill room/guest bedroom. Comfortable to sit watch TV. I will add a mattress pad when I convert to a bed as I always do for more comfort. Absolutely love my purchase
2 out of 3 dogs approved. I really needed a small couch or loveseat for a sitting area that would not get stained by dog drool. My dogs love to sit near the windows and my fabric loveseat had gotten so stained that I needed something that I could wipe clean. As mentioned in the title, if you just need something to fill space then this is it. It is like sitting on cardboard as it is in no way comfortable. I would not even image sleeping on this or using it as a daily couch but for dog usage - it seems to work out just fine.

To fragile
Looks awesome but the underside fabric is like paper. It tore when it was being put together.
