I want to love this bed but Im just not there. Its not as sturdy as I had hoped it would be and I know that over the next few months/years (if it lasts that long) I will need to be super careful. No vigorous adult activities, thats for sure. I also fear that its only going to take one little kid to pull on one of the bars, and it will be bent and broken.
Lastly, when you actually look close, it looks cheaply made and be the hardware is and the bed is (ish) its really obvious where it comes together.
I waited for months for this bed to come back in stock. I got it in the color. Many reviewers complained it was mustard and I was worried, but it is the exact same shade as other furniture from other manufacturers. Do not stress! Its not the shade of jewelry , but it is a deeper and matte. Exact same as picture. It does creak a LITTLE but only when Im getting in and can probably be easily fixed I just havent bothered yet. For those asking if you can hang from the top: NO, I can assure you not a good idea. I thought it would be way sturdier. Dont get me wrong this is a SOLID bed but the bars are hollow and the top bars are just for decoration really. Great bargain for the look achieved. You absolutely need a box spring. Also, storage containers that fit under the bed and in/between the bars can be easily found, which was another concern for me. Between the bars under the bed you have about 19 width and then a 6 clearance for height (Full size bed), so many under bed storage products will fit. Or shorter boxes.
This bed is absolutely not worth it! Dont even risk it especially if it will ever be slept on by a couple or a single person over probably 150 lbs. It says the recommended weight is 500 lbs but it cant even handle one average build male. My husband is 65 and somewhere within average weight of 190/230 lbs. we got this frame in may and just moved the mattress last night so see that the frame was actually bending in towards his side under his weight. I have felt the mattress leaning sideways in his direction for months now almost replaced my mattress because I have been in unbearable pain and can barely move. This is infuriating to think Ive been in excruciating pain for months because of this piece of junk there will be nothing done to atone for that. At this point I just wish I could get a refund so I could afford a chiropractor to fix my back.
I absolutely love this bed frame it goes with everything else I own. Absolutely adore it. The only complaint I have is the difficulty of removing the stickers on the upper bars. They come with this huge label on each bar. Trust me just buy some goo gone before you start assembly. It took me about 45 minutes to sit there and clean it all up. Thats really my only and single compliment
UPDATE / the bars at the top are very flimsy, be careful when assembling and disassembling this bed frame!
I was really hoping for a better quality with this bed. I did read the reviews, but I decided to give it a try anyway. I wish I had saved that money and put it towards something better.

So love this bed. You really must get curtains and lights to do it justice. Itll look super nice and dreamy.

Love that handcuffs and ties can go on any part of the bed. Very fun and very versatile.
