If wish I could give this bed 4.5 stars. I would rate it higher than 4 stars, but lower than 5, due to a couple of slight factors. Overall, Id say that this bed is quite good quality, especially compared to other products made out of composite material. It took me about 4 hours using only hand tools to put it together. The instructions are exceedingly well written, with very clear pictures. The bed is quite sturdy, and the drawers glide in and out quite smoothly. The only trouble I came across was that the drawer fronts do not align quite perfectly when they are closed. This is not necessarily due to a defect in the product. Its possible that I wasnt careful enough in constructing the drawers. The biggest drawback for me is that I wish the drawers went in a bit further into the bed. They only go in about halfway, so the other half cant be efficiently used for storage. You could conceivably remove a couple of the wooden planks to store a few seldom-used items, but its pretty inconvenient to do so. However, they seem big enough and deep enough to store blankets and sheets, which is what I wanted to use them for.
Love it. It was exactly what I was looking for. I really like the concept of having drawers under the bed. it saves a lot of space. I did not get the headboard, but even without it the bed looks really nice.
I purchased without the headboard, i must suggest you to buy the complete set for nicer set-up. The bed frame is durable and drawers will accommodate a lot of stuff.
Absolutely wonderful. Im a large person (61 and 290lbs) and it holds me and another person just fine. Yes, Its cheaply made but it suits my needs perfectly.
Easy to put together, and works really well. Looks nice and functional. Everything I was looking for. Instructions were clear and relatively simple. I did this mostly by myself (sometimes my dad, who was in town visiting, popped in to help) in about 3-4 hours. Only negative is that it seems like it will fit INTO the headboard in the picture (sold separately), but it doesnt quite fit. Be prepared for a gap.
*note: Ive but together a LOT of furniture in my life, and enjoy building things. If you have not, and this is your first assembly please consider this a moderate difficulty rated product.
Good bed great price was able to put together myself (54 110lbs) without difficulty. Did need help getting it in but could have opened the boxes and brought in piece by piece if I had to. Took about 3 hours to build
Not gonna lie, it was a pain in the butt to get upstairs and assemble. And while it gives you adequate instructions, and all the right pieces it is not an easy task. Took me about three hours to assemble with my wife but has been going strong and looking good ever since.
We bought this for our teenage son who outgrew his twin bed. This frame was a queen size and has held up beautifully. My son has his buddies over to stay the night so even with teenage boys this frame has held up like a champ. There is plenty of storage in the drawers below. The drawers hold much more than I thought they would. I am so please with it I purchased a second one for my mother.
