I generally shy away from products made in China but based on mostly positive reviews I took a chance and ordered and assembled this console. My midnight black, inch console shipped to me in a few days and was well packaged in a strong, heavy duty, well padded box. Following the supplied installation instructions manual, I assembled the product with no issues and all pieces were well engineered and nicely fit together. Even though it is constructed of a high grade MDF pressed wood, after assembly it seems very sturdy, looks nice and will accommodate my components.
Easy to assemble, will buy another for bedroom. Would recommend. Like the variety of colors. Very sturdy. Quality furniture. Cant go wrong with this purchase.
The packages arrived separately and clearly marked 1 and 2. They were packed with pieces in the order needed to assemble. Easy assembly. Like other reviewers we recommend at least two people for assembly. We are pleased with the finished product. It accomplishes our goals for additional storage and counter space.

The color on this us beautiful, it is sturdy, and it has ample space on the shelves.
The person that assembled did it with no problems. Everything was there in the box.
