little tricky to put together by myself, but I like how the instructions have you put in all the hardware on each piece before you assemble. it makes it go very quick at the end. definitely a sturdy piece of furniture.
It really is beautiful and sturdy. I hired someone to put it together.took about 45 minutes. He commented that this cabinet is of good quality.I love the color and it holds my new Samsung 43 flat well. Also, I was able to place sound bar in front of flat .
Once built, the unit is very nice with lots of space and somewhat attractive. As with most assembly units, you have to be careful and keep an eye on the details when putting it together. The wood is cheap and sometimes the holes dont line up exactly, take your time, have a drill handy to re/align some of the holes. Take your time, never overtighten the screws and after a couple of hours you should have a nice kitchen island. Be extra careful with the drawer hardware.
I agree with the majority of the reviews here. Im no stranger to putting this kind of furniture together but man, this one was a doozy. 5hrs. but also agree, in the end, it was worth it. for the price point, it was worth the effort and is the perfect solution for extra counter/work space, storage and the is fabulous for extra seating! be sure to sink all of the screws on the drawers or they wont close smoothly. be careful with piece 6, its not clear and almost snuck by me//easy enough fix. I put the magnet for the doors on last to get true center. this is not an expensive piece of furniture so dont get hung up on slight misalignments. its perfect for a young persons apt who wants something that looks really nice and gets the job done.
I loved that it came in 2 boxes. I had fun putting it together., It came 3 days early so that was really great. Its so much larger then i thought it would be. I love it. So much storage space, and huge deep drawers. Well worth the money
For the price its pretty good quality stuff. Everything fit together tight and sturdy. As seen in picture I added some custom LED strips to really spice up the look. For the price you cant beat this Much better quality than I anticipated
This is a sturdy attactive piece at a great price point. The only problem is the hinges are supported by a block so the screw is right at the wood margin, making the connection a little loose (and you can see a small crack that developed during installation)over time that could a problem especially with frequent use, hence the 4 stars. We just store items on that side that do not get used very often. Overall we are pleased and would puchase again.
