Bought this bed as a big boy bed for my 3-now 4 year old, and he absolutely loveees it. Its sturdy, I put a 12 memory foam mattress on it and absolutely no complaints so far with how its golding up. I put it together myself, and it wasnt difficult to do by any means, but it did take a little longer, the instructions werent the best, and I had to be more creative finding things to prop up parts on while I screwed the screws in so it was level.
The only reason for the rating, is that it is just wood, and it isnt coated or varnished, just sanded down, and I gave myself a splinter trying to put it together. Im planning to seal it clear and maybe paint it in the next couple of months, but I did go over it myself to check and make sure that he wasnt going to get a splinter before then.
I am very satisfied with the product! It is easy to assemble (I assembled it alone) and is of very good quality. The only hit is that 2 places were missing holes to insert the screws. According to the plan, the holes should already be there. Luckily I was well equipped with tools, as I had to drill them myself.
The product is easy to build and the color is nice. At first the frame seemed okay but the screws loosen up every few weeks. They are consistently falling out completely and the bed is rickety if not tightened regularly. Would not recommend.
This frame arrives unfinished or unpainted making it easy to personalize the finish. We left it unfinished and it looks great. These are beds for college students when home from college. They work well
I bought two beds and have had them both for two months and the headboard has started to crack in several places. Im not happy with the quality on these beds. They should not be cracking after two months
Its sturdy and nice wood but It didnt come with all the screws yes it is only missing three but it is a pain to have to go out and buy screws for something that is suppose to come with all the parts.

Plain design makes the pine woods character more noticeable.
The bed was great but the packaging wasnt robust enough. Several of the wood boards had dents in them from shipping.
