There are definitely better platform storage beds out there but this one is okay for the price. The boards that the bed lays on could easily leave slivers in the bed or yourself if you arent too careful putting them in while constructing the frame. Otherwise it is what the description offers. Not pleasantly surprised by this one but not unhappy with my purchase either.
I read a lot of reviews on this bedframe. I read one suggesting extra corner braces, I installed them and the bed is extra sturdy now. The bed is particleboard style (a la ) but I disagree that it was a difficult build or that its difficult to move once constructed.
I built this bedframe with only a hammer, a philliphead screwdriver, and the provided hex wrench in less than 2 hours. This time includes the extra corner braces (which in my opinion arent really necessary but a good idea)
It is much easier to have the help of another person and if you have access to a power screwdriver itll only speed up the process, the instructions were like a lego instruction bookso if you find yourself struggling with legos you probably will struggle with this.
Now in the case of moving it its bulky dont get me wrong but if you took out the drawers first and then had yourself and another person you could move it. If you can move a box spring in and out of a bedroom, its only slightly larger than that.
The drawers can shift so they dont fully close, but I found move the frame a bit got them to close flush.
Also, the headboard and footboard are the same size, so the headboard will not appear behind your pillows if thats the look youre going for. I did also purchase the Manhattan Double/Queen Storage Headboard, Espresso and it lines up perfectly with the bedrame.
One last note, the drawers are basically an inch in from the end, so if you want to put a nightstand right next to the bed you will not be able to access that drawer. If you add the headboard I mentioned, you still only have 11 clearance, which isnt deep enough for most nightstand. That being said, if you want a night stand youll need to pull the bedframe from the wall a bit.
We loved this product. My husband found it easy to assemble. We added thin ply wood to cover the slats and to add support for the mattress and to add coverage to the storage drawers. My daughter says the bed is comfortable and She loves the extra storage that the drawers provide. Definitely satisfied.
Excellent quality for the price. It is not high quality, but perfect for our budget! We have had it for two years now and we moved recently, easy to un- and re-assemble.

I just did a room makeover for my sons bedroom. I needed lots of storage because his room is small. The 12 very roomy drawers hold his clothes with room to spare, so I was able to get all of his junk out of the room and into the closet. Assembly was very straight forward. I was able to do most of the assembly myself.
i assembled this bed for my lady friend who needed storage space.just took my time and everything fell into place.the most important issue was making sure it was level and square.love the bed and all the storage.thinking about buying one for myself.
I love the color and the drawers which work nicely, not stiff at all, but it was interesting to put together. Our King bed fits the king platform perfectly.

Pretty good for the money. Ill would of spent more for quality. But for the money was good enough. It was nice.
