My 12 year old son loves this bed. We did mount it to the wall as directed, but we might add a few more as it still moves a bit when he climbs. Perfect size to put his desk under. We added some IKEA LED lights under the top bunk, and he loves it!
Does the job we need it to. Fits perfectly in the area. But we had a hole that was not fully cut out for the bolt, and it held us up for over two hour to resolve issue. Once completely put together it looked aming and was sturdy but after two days of use by my 8 year old, we found two heads of the bolts on the ground completely broken off. The bed was still sturdy, but this is a little worrisome considering we are only in 3 days of building the bed. Will call company to see how we can resolve issue.
Arrived a day earlier then expected and in good condition. About 2 hrs to put together...all parts matched except for one...but its fine. My son loves it. He is about 60lbs and the bed is sturdy. Looks nice and frees up some room.
I absolutely love this buck bed and so my daughter. I chose to assemble it myself and even thought it took me about two hours, the instructions were extremely easy to follow. Its big enought and secure enough. It delivered a day earlier than expected...I am Very happy... Thank you so much!
Product seems to be of decent quality but horribly disappointed that an incorrect piece was sent making it impossible to set up as bunk beds. Will take more than a week to get the replacement part because it took the manufacturer two days to process the part replacement request.
Be careful not to stub your toe on the middle wheel when youre pulling the bed out. (Happens from stance used to pull out bed
Simply to put together. I dont remember if it was a review for this product or another bed, but the plastic pieces snap in easily. No pain. You might only need one extra person just to hold up the frame while youre putting the bolts in. But you could just as soon put it across a chair to keep it level.
The wheels only move in a back and forth direction, and while using the bed I think there is enough weight that you dont have to worry about the frame moving around. Again, watch that middle wheel, your bare toes will thank me.
Seems sturdy enough. IIRC it can handle max of 250lbs.
UPDATE 2016/10/11: if anyone wants to do a daybed + trundle combo try this trundle with this bed frame (swascana 14 twin bedframe https://www..com/gp/aw/d/B01IOVEZ84/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8psc=1 I paid about $188.84 for both +/- shipping. Compare that to a complete combo.
This is a nice bed and seems to be good quality for the price. It does shake a little when climbing the ladder. The rungs are narrow and tough on your feet but we put pieces of pool noodles around them which helped. My son is 6 ft. 1 and under 150 lbs. He used it in college dorm room. There is not an entry at the top of the ladder to the mattress (the railing goes all the way around so you have to be ok with climbing over the railing . He put his computer desk underneath and had enough head room. Assembly does take awhile and you need to really read instructions.
It is a nice loft, but many of the bolts snapped [6]. Very frustrating having to buy replacement hardware because i do not trust their hardware for my kid. I replaced all of their bolts. help me replace the cost of parts, just much more time. Is it worth that little savings for cheaper hardware?
