Excellent bed at a good price

Summary: A great bed at a reasonable price -- and now $100 less than when we purchased one in Feb 2010! Pros: Sturdy, utilitarian bed. Reasonably easy assembly/disassembly. Not too heavy for moving. Excellent price now; we were a bit uncertain at $340, but for $250 this would be a great deal. Cons: Nothing I can think of.

Hard to believe this came out of a box!

I am very impressed with the quality of this bed. It is extremely well designed and very sturdy. I worked it by myself and it took me about 4 hours from start to finish. The instructions could have been a little clearer on which sides I was working on, On several occasions I had to backtrack and change positions of some of the poles. No big deal and those mistakes were easily corrected. For the price, the value is great. 2 people could put this together in 90 minutes. No tools necessary, all included in the box. It wouldnt hurt to use a drill with an Allen wrench bit for faster assembly. However, I did not use mine. Great bed... Highly recommended.

    A great product

Love these bunk beds. Assembly went smoothly. Lots of head room in the bottom bunk. Twin mattresses fit perfectly. Very sturdy.

    Nice and sturdy.

My husband put this together on his own in about an hour. My 3 yr old and 6 yr old sleep in it comfortably and I feel safe having them sleep there every night. What more can I ask for! Instructions to assemble pretty clear.

    Well made bunk beds

These are in my sons room and they have been great. He has room for a friend to sleep over without taking away ant floor space. I also love that you can sit on the bottom bunk and not worry about banging your head on the overhead bunk. Great purchase.

    Make it easy on yourself

To install the plastic tab locks (8, use a large set of channel lock pliers (covered with cardboard and tape so you dont scratch the frame. If you use two people, you can do it very quickly. Have one person position the plastic tab locks, inserted on one side of the slot and hold it there for the second person to snap it into place with the pliers. You can do it as a one man operation, but it goes much quicker if you dont have to adjust the channel locks or fumble with the plastic tab locks since they frequently come out of the slots. My daughter suggested to do one whole side of the bed at a time. After I had struggled with the plastic tab locks for so long (by myself, we installed the last 10 together in about one minute. Another thing we did to help with the assembly was to install the legs (N first. That made it obvious which were the lower and the upper cross bars. Read some of the other reviews for tips on installing the ladder. Good Luck!

Solid frame and easy to assemble

Quick shipment and nicely packed. Received all parts and pieces. I alone assembled it in less than an hour. I bought this one for my daughters (2 and 7 and I am sure its going to last for few years. Best part is it can be used as bunk or two twins. I am using it as bunk and height is perfect. It can even hold an adult. Will recommend this product to anyone looking for bunk/2 twin for kids or guests.

Require lot of time to assemble

Thus product requires a great amount time to assemble, took us over 6 hours to finish. Some of the parts needs to make adjustment before putting them together. Overall, the price matches the quality of the product.

    Far better than I expected

It has been really good for my eldest daughter, and provides a great reading room underneath for my younger girls.
