We bought these bunk beds for out hostel. They are very sturdy. I was happy that regular twin mattresses fit it. We bought a memory foam mattress for the top and get rave reviews on that. We have no complaints at all. And the assembly was not horrid. It did take us the better part of an afternoon to assemble, but really that is not too bad in my opinion.
If the order arrives flawlessly then probably ok company to work with. I received only one box out of two. They were slow to respond and when they finally did decide to take some time to email me they were not even sure what they had sent me. Disorganized, slow and not real interested in dealing with people. For all you parents out there with horror stories about putting kid stuff together and cry directions written by non-English speakers/writers; stand by. This product is going to make the list of stories. The product itself is moderately ok. Nothing great, but ok for the price. With the crummy customer experience tho Im only giving them two stars.
We bought the loft bed because of the space saving issues we have and liked the idea of adding a futon underneath at a future time. What we found out is the futons are wider. Even though it was shown with one, we cant make it work. Not even a standard twin frame would fit. Really disappointed especially with dimensions.
Its a good bed. A LOT of parts! Instructions were sufficient but lacked detail. I assembled a few pieces incorrectly and had to take it apart and reassemble it. It will take time to put this beast together. Took me about 5 hours and I had the kids help me assemble a few pieces.
We bought this from a different store that had a large discount at the time.
The bed came in a million parts and took a while to put together but once up it is very nice. However the bars that are used for ladders can be rather painful on the feet. To ease the feet of some of the pain from the bars, we covered them tightly with pipe insulation. The type that is a dense foam with a slit down the side. I would not recommend that to young kids though, since the foam could possibly rotate while they are stepping on it if they are not balanced which could cause them to fall.
We are using this in my daughters bedroom to save space and it is great. We have pretty low celilings (71/2/ft and she has enough room to sit up with an 8in mattress. The assembly took 2 people and about 3 hours, but it is very sturdy. I would recommend this bed.
We bought this for our two girls, 6 4. We dont have long term plans for this bed--maybe a year or two until the 6 year old is comfortable enough to transition to her own room--and I am sure that the bed isnt made to last long term. I do have to say that the package arrived quickly and nothing was damaged. In putting the bed together, I quickly realized how poorly the instructions were written. We had put together a bunkbed/futon combo the previous night for our oldest child and those instructions were much more informative.
As we put together the bunkbed, we became familiar with those nasty plastic tabs everyone talks about. They a a total pain in the neck and I eventually gave up and let my hubby finish because he is much stronger. Some tabs went in easily and some were extremely hard. There is a trick to them in that you have to make sure they are facing the right direction before you try to press them in.
When e bed was all put together, my husband commented on how much sturdier the bed is compared to the other one we put together. I do agree. However, when my 55 pound kid climbs up the ladder, the whole bed creaks and shakes. Im not confident it would safely hold the 300 lbs. it claims to hold on each level. I am neutral on this bed. It was cheap, arrived quickly and will serve its purpose. If I planned on keeping it around for a long time, Id probably knock off another star.
Great bed! Took awhile like 3 hours to put together but I took a few breaks cause my fingers hurt a little bit. Had my son help and my hubby while I did all the work! Very sturdy bed and beautiful color finish. i had read the reviews before purchase and I would have messed up the ladder if I didnt read them. You definitely have to skip ahead and add the ladder before adding the support beams for the mattress on the top bunk only. That one side can mess u up if you dont do the ladder first. Other than that great bed holds my weight, yes I climbed on top to check it out. Im 200 lbs. I absolutely would recommend to anyone. This bed is for my 13 yr old son who sleeps on top and 15 yr old daughter who share a room in a small apt in NYC.

Sent partial order.

Not a good fit

Good bed, poor instructions

Very nice, but needs a less painful ladder.

Very sturdy and worth the money

Cannot beat it for the price
Wooden beds were getting destroyed, so I ordered these. Easy to build, instructions were proper, it is a solid piece. I would buy another.
Just okay. A pain to put together.

just a little bit inconvenient
the left and right edges are closed which makes a little bit inconvenient to get on your bed. but the other things are good, I like it very much.
Wow
