This is a GREAT looking bed! My husband put it together, mostly by himself with a little help from me (some of the wood needed support while being drilled into). It took him about 8.5 hours to put together the stairs, top bunk and bottom bunk and then about 2.5 hours to put together the trundle. He is handy but not any type of professional - although I highly HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend a power drill if you don't have one! This would have taken twice as long without the power drill.
This bed was easy to put together, but a few tips. Lay out the parts (of which there are many) and the specific instructions for each section first. Do this in a separate room and bring each section in as needed per the instructions. Build the bed in-place, it is very heavy and hard to move once assembled. There are three sets of instructions (one for the bunk beds, one for the stairs and one for the bottom roll away bed) that are not interchangeable, but the hardware is interchangeable. Took several hours for two people with battery drills (be sure to adjust the depth/speed gauge for the drills. It is very easy to bury the screws in some areas. Once finished building the beds, went around and tightened all the screws/bolts after it had been used for several days. Since then no loose screws/bolts and everything is tight and sturdy.
Although it took me absolutely forever to build this for my children the end product was great it's very sturdy I love the color of it and it even hold me hahaha. Definitely give 5 stars love this product!
This bed is great. I've put together a lot of furniture and this thing is well made with clear instructions and good design. Once together it's solid. That being said it took ALL DAY LONG to put together. And into the night. It's a LOT of parts and boxes. Give your room and time.
Bought this bed for my son's bedroom and although I waited a month after the bed arrived to assemble this bad boy. I managed to put it together by myself (superwoman I know). The bed came in six boxes and somehow I managed to open all of the boxes out of order ♀?. But anywho I assembled the staircase first and then the rest of the bed while my brat decided playing his tablet was more important than helping..ok moving back to the review...noticed that some of the wood pieces were jacked up a little where the wood was damaged and shedding wood pieces..but since those pieces were part of the staircase drawers and could be hidden I wasnt sweating it. Just made sure I vacuumed throughout the mission impossible task....But overall my brat loves it and that's all that matters.
Absolutely fantastic buy. My girls love it. The price was good and the set up was easy enough. It took a while to set up but the directions were very well written. Would buy again.
Had it for a few months. kids climbing all over it, its still sturdy and nothing loose. In the other reviews people saying it takes 10 hours to build, they are not lying! Im pretty handy and i even got some hex bits for my drill. It took every bit of 10 hours to build. The wood is a little soft, so be careful when using a drill, it will drive the screws right through it. Lots of storage! Kids love all the drawers. Would definitely recommend this bed.

Great purchase!
Easy to assemble with instructions. Very sturdy. I’m thrilled with the purchase!
Assembly takes a little while, just follow the instructions carefully.
Great bunk beds. Bought two sets for our second home. Very sturdy, well designed, well packaged for delivery.
Lots of parts

Can be assembled with one person but wouldn't recommend for the sake your body muscles
