TL;DR The bed is solid with most everything made from wood. The stain is a nice dark brown. Broken rail out of box.
I was already concerned about going with a Twin vs Twin XL size wise, but this bed had good ratings (including checking fakespot) and looked solid.
It comes in 2 large boxes. Boxes looked good and everything is well packed.
On opening I thought, it had way more pieces than I was expecting to have to assemble. This is basically 2 beds though w/slats everywhere so makes sense. If you want something easy this is not it.
After seeing the large number of parts I was more discouraged about continuing vs just returning. Then I found a broken board with a rail attached, which was supposed to be on a bottom wall for the trundle. After further examination I realized it was previously glued and stapled to the mount points and those were also glued on. Fixing would require removing those mount points which would likely damage the wall.
I imagine this is a one-off mistake during packing. The other side looked good as did all other parts.
For myself, I'm returning and going with something easier as well a Twin XL in for size -> KD Frames Nomad Platform Natural Poplar Bed - XL-Twin (https://www..com/gp/product/B01K5XSMWO)
Overall wall I still would recommend for someone wanting a twin that is sturdy with drawers and a trundle.
The instructions for the stairs missed directions towards the end it was like figure it out.
I love this bed works so well in my house but for 800$ you couldn’t get like a cover for the bar going underneath the top bunk my daughter barely hits her head except the bar popping out
Also I’ve had a loft bed and they had a bar to connect the barrier so the top bunker doesn’t fall
It’s just really weak Like one good time they’re going down
And no beds should not be jumped and rough houses with but these are for kids ….
When my kid sometimes like to lean on these and there so bendy it scares me
Pros: Love the additional storage. Really clean design. The color of the wood is beautiful! Love the slip guard on the stairs. Kids love it!
Cons: We would give this product a 5 star but the drawers seem to be off alignment no matter what we do. Also it comes in 5 boxes...great for shipping but hard on house space.
Great bed. Definitely a space saver for room sharing. Only thing I was not happy with is the instructions. They were missing a few pages. But if you have common knowledge of building you'll be okay
I have had this for about a month. I got the stairs to help with stability, which is good. Have not had any creaking or anything. I am 5 ft 3 inches, and when standing on the top step, my head just barely does not touch the 8 ft ceiling. Am able to sit straight up underneath.
Assembly was easy enough, just needed an extra hand for a few things. Plus had to drill holes for the face plate of the drawers to the stairs, and to attach the stairs to the bed.
Glad of the quality of material. Was a bit iffy since it states the weight limit is only 175. I got this bed for me, and I am close to the max weight. The bed has not wobbled at all, which is great.
Just hate that they make the low lofts for little kids, when they are not the only ones that need the space. I wanted a high loft to put a desk underneath, but was not able to due to only having an 8 ft ceiling, and I would have only had an inch or two of clearance while siting on the bed.
I love it! The bed was easy to assemble, however, the stairs came in a ton of pieces. The bulk of the installation time was assembling the stairs. Other than that, awesome bed!
This is a great bunk bed. As a few other reviewers have mentioned, there may be a couple of random screws that do not attach. Plan on having a backup that is a half inch longer, as they have pre-drilled the holes too deep and wide. Overall a great bed and purchase. Family is happy.
I had ordered a bed from a local furniture store and after 3 months of waiting I cancelled it. Considering it was a 300 cheaper and free shipping Overall I’m not disappointed with this bed. However I did not give it 5 stars because the wood is cheap and has already scratched. The directions are confusing and the parts are poorly labeled. I have 5 kids. We have gone through 3 sets of bunkbeds so I am familiar with the assembly. It wasn’t too difficult to put together and it was very sturdy. I would purchase this again.

Seems like a solid bed, more complicated than I was up for

Great buy but one thing…

Bon produit
Très bien pour le prix ,il faut juste être très attentif au plan car il est pas toujours clair. Mais bon produit en général.
Four Stars
Very sturdy, even for my woodworking husband - though watch the mattress thickness with the trundle!
It is a great bed
