The bed was good but there was never a full comfort level of putting our kids in the bunk bed. Putting it together wasnt difficult, but you get what you pay for. We still use the bed but separated not as a bunk any longer. The bed is solid when separated but in use as a bunk I would go with something more expensive for piece of mind.
My wife and I have been in contact with manufacturer and still no resolve. The wrong leg/post was for the top bunk causing you not to be able to put the rail on the back side up.
Its pretty solid but I gave it a four because some of screws for the ladder and a few wooden pegs were missing probably due to poor packaging or poor handling. Instructions arent difficult in my opinion. However, they are only pictures, for those of us that do like to read instructions. I will say this though, if you have stairs that wrap around...be sure to set up the beds INSIDE the room that you want them in. Probably wasnt the smartest move on my part to put em together downstairs in my living room then try to manuever them upstairs but I dont anyone else to make the same mistake. I had to practically disassemble both beds and build them back up in the room where I wanted them... /_/ ...nightmare
We were looking for Bunk beds for company and since this set said it was not big,I bought it.My husband assembled it with absolutely no sweat.it is sturdy, very nice looking and a twin fits well.I bought a 8 memory foam for the bottom and it is TIGHT! Really hard to put sheets on.
As advertised,we plan to separate the bunks and have I love lucy beds in the master. The craftsman look is perfect. And the beds are very well made.
Great product for the price. I really didnt have too many problems with the instructions and assembly, just a couple hiccups. My 17 month old son took to it immediately!
This is a great bed! Good quality. I took me about 2.5 hours by myself to put together. One irritating thing about the directions. They are very specific about what piece of labeled wood to use on each step however, the wood pieces are not all labeled so its not as helpful as you would want! Boys love it. Seems sturdy. It does have a kind of chemical ish smell from the varnish that hung around a couple days.
Arrived super quick.. thanks to Prime
Packaged great and with logical instructions. It was time consuming but over-all easy to put together (need two people).
Perfect size for my 1 bedroom, low ceiling mobile trailer. Now my girls have twin beds AND space to play.
Helpful Hints:
-Not every piece is labeled with a sticker but the pieces that matter have a label and the rest sort of fall into their place.
-Bottom bunk spacing is Not for teenagers, more for toddlers and young kids. I would say age 10 MAX
I like this bed. It was easy to build but it is a little wobbly. I use it for my 7 yr old on top and 4 yr old on bottom. My boys love it. Its about 5 feet tall so its not too close to the ceiling.
I have to admit I was skeptical based on the price and other reviews. Dont let the low price fool. I found this to be an excellent value. It was sturdier than I expected and more attractive. It was easy to put together, except their were no words and only pictures on the instructions. Nonetheless, I would recommend this to anyone. Its a great value.
I bought this for my son and daughter and they love it!! After reading all the reviews I was scared that my package would be delivered damaged or in one huge box that would be difficult to load into my SUV. It came in 2 separate boxes and in perfect condition. It took my husband and father in law about 2 hours to put together. It came out great! very sturdy! The wood it beautiful! Most of all my kids love it!!! I will definitely be recommending this to mt family and friends!!

Besides being a little bit annoying to assemble...
