    great set of bunk beds.

Ok, so some of the pieces were not labeled but the ones that are not are simply mirror images of the ones that are. My 13 year old daughter could work it out. It took two of us to put it together and it was fun. It is sturdy and looks fantastic. The instructions were included and the hardware too. Arrived in two boxes 3 days after ordering. I am absolutely thrilled.

Not as Sturdy as Others Claim

Disappointed to put this together. Its a lot more rickety than I had hoped and we followed the fairly simple directions. Doesnt come with an Allen wrench which you will need to put it together. The first night I sat on it (300 lbs) with my son (100 lbs) and the slats fell off the bottom. We fixed it by drilling them in and not leaning against the back anymore. Its against the wall and we were all the way against it. I give these beds 4 years max before they are trash.

    Decent cheap beds

Since only three of the many, many pieces to the beds were marked, I really had to pay attention to the location of holes drilled on each part to assure proper assembly. One headboard was fairly damaged during shipping. Not worth waiting on another to ship. Just check packaging for damage upon arrival.

Good bunk beds for elementary school age kids

Weve owned this for 2 years and are still happy with the purchase. This bunk bed set is sturdy and well made. Theres definitely a low clearance between the bunks and Ive hit my head more than once... but that doesnt happen to my kids. Nonetheless, I actually like that theyre shorter because its a smaller distance for my older daughter to climb up the ladder and makes it easier for me to change the top bunk bedding. We didnt have trouble with assembly like others on here...If you have a small house like us, just remember to do the last few assembly steps AFTER you bring the bunk bed into the bedroom. Fully assembled, it would be difficult/impossible to get through a doorway.

    Great piece of furniture

I did a ton of researching before purchasing this, including reading nearly all of the reviews. We ordered from , it was delivered in 2 days. It is solid wood, so the box is quite heavy but the delivery was taken to my garage, and my husband was able to slide it into the house when we were ready to put it together. We removed all the pieces and carried them to the bedroom where we were setting it up. It took the two of us (with 2 allen wrenches) 2 hours and 30 minutes to put together, even with our kids running around trying to help. There was one piece of the headboard that was missing a set of holes. My husband used his drill to make them, no problem. All of the pieces were in the box, nothing was broken. Once put together, it is extremely sturdy. This was my biggest concern. I was worried that because it was inexpensive, it would not be sturdy. I am very happy with the sturdiness. There is plenty of headroom between the top bunk and the ceiling, and enough headroom between the two bunks. Make sure your mattresses fit the guidelines, follow the directions step by step, perhaps get an allen wrench bit for your drill, and you will be set. Great price. Definitely beats the overpriced bunkbeds I have seen from the catalog companies, and just as beautiful.

    Highly recommend

Instructions are tough, no words at all. Pay attention to the details, though, and everything comes together nicely. Sister and I got ours together in about 2.5 hours Christmas morning. Would have been quicker if it hadnt been 2 AM. All assembled, plenty sturdy enough for a 2, 4, and 6 year old to play rough on. The chemical smell of the wood faded after a day or two.

    Love them!

Great quality for the money. The only drawback is the ladder not being slanted so the kids can get up and down a little easier.
