I love chair itself, but the glide action is not silent. It makes noise when it s and moves, like its not on correctly. The box was pretty beaten up when delivered and the chair itself had some dirt marks on it. On further inspection, one the the rubber pieces was broken off the round metal base and the base is not even which attributes to the noisy movements. I am currently in the process of working something out with .I will keep you updated on the outcome.
My husband and I were looking for a modern for our smallish nursery and this fits perfectly!! We ordered the grey which looks beautiful in our baby girls pink, white grey nursery! Its super comfortable and glides and swivels. I know others have complained you can see the black tracking, but its really not a big deal, if youre not looking for it, you wouldnt even notice it. We had a really hard time finding a small profile thats modern and not cry expensive and this is exactly what we were looking for. If you dont mind that this doesnt have a high back, then youll love it!! Super comfy and we paired it up with a Moroccan white poof to use as an !
I searched high and low for a that would fit in our NYC apartment and not look too babyish. Every inch of space counts here and I didnt want to end up with something that would look out of place once the baby is a little bigger. This chair is just wonderful. The color is so pretty / nicer than in the pics (a bit lighter), super soft, has great back support and glides without making a sound. It is very contemporary and looks much more expensive than it is. A steal compared to the thousand dollar rockers out there!! Highly recommend it!
This is a great looking , well made and comfortable. Its not that great for breastfeeding or lounging in because of the low back. I think itll be better in a few years for story telling time
We are expecting our baby Sept. 2013 and havent actually sat in it with our baby yet, but as far as chair comfort goes, its very comfy. The neutral slate grey color is beautiful and fits well in our nursery. The chair came fully assembled too!
2 minor cons are there is no place to rest your head back. This issue may make it hard while nursing. Although the product came in pristine condition, the box looked like it had gone through hell. We were happy to open the item and have it look so great.
The chair is great quality at a price way lower than other s we considered. The first one we received make a noise when gliding. We contacted right away and they were wonderful! The new one arrived today and no sounds at all when rocking/gliding. It fits perfect in our small nursery and we are purchasing an pouf to use with it as a foot rest. We liked this chair because it can easily transition into our bedroom when we are done using it in the nursery. Thank you again for your great customer service. We needed a small chair for our babys room. This chair is very stylish and comfortable. The rocker and move very well. We found this chair on line and purchased soley on looks and reviews. We definately lucket out. we love this chair.
If you have a big room, there are probably more comfortable s out there because this one doesnt have head support and if you use for feeding when you have a bigger child it is a little tight space/wise. But this one is perfect for a small room and it is everything I expected. Quality material, comes fully assembled, and much more comfortable than a rocker for putting my child to sleep.
I didnt get this chair to rock a baby, though I do have a new infant granddaughter who will probably enjoy it. I got this chair because I wanted a small swivel rocker that was comfortable and fit my petite size. Those mammoth sectionals and deep recliners that all the shops stock just swallow me up, stressing my back into unnatural positions and discomfort. This chair met my needs so well that after I got the first for my study, I ordered another for my living room.
It is attractive; the fabric is soft; it moves smoothly, and you can turn all the way around without hitting anything on the table next to you, which is helpful as my study has a fireplace at the far end, so I can face it or the view outside.
My only challenge was how heavy and bulky it was to try to move once I got it out of the box. The metal swivel/ mechanism on the bottom prevented easy pushing. I solved this by sliding the flattened packing box under and used it to easily maneuver the chair. For the second chair, I moved the box to the intended location before unpacking and that worked perfectly.
Now Im thinking maybe I would like a third one for a guest
Just got my and Im so impressed with how smoothly it glides. I was nervous about other reviews saying the packaging is poor and it could arrive damaged, however, mine arrived in perfect condition. This will make me look forward to those 3am feelings with baby! A must have! I do want a gliding now that I have the chair.
