I bought this bed as a foundation for a latex foam mattress. It came very neatly packaged with each piece protected against damage. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and it came with a nice little ratchet tool for tightening the bolts. The wooden parts had helpful labels to help you line things up correctly. It took me about an hour to put everything together, and I wasnt in a rush.
Once it was assembled, it felt very sturdy and secure. The slats were spaced perfectly for the foam mattress, about 3 apart. It easily supports the mattress, which is about 170 lbs.
I am impressed by the quality of this product, especially considering the very reasonable price. Well done !

Im overall happy with this purchase, I put it together with my son in no time. However, one of the panels was damaged, which could have happened in the transport.
The bed came very quickly within 2 to 3 days...so was very pleased about that. The bed itself is very sturdy and very good quality. Beautiful color and is exactly as shown online. Would highly recommend!
My dad was looking for a smaller bed so we looked on and found this one. He was very happy with the purchase .My sister and I put it together for him , we were surprised how simple it was every part was numbered which was good, its also sturdy and the slats were already together we unrolled them and it had Velcro on the sides
to connect to the Velcro which was on top of the side rails to keep the slats secure. The only downside is that I wish I had ordered the one with a headboard .Its a very good bed I may order one for myself someday

Arrived well packed in 2 layers of boxes. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bed for the sub $200 price range. I was able to assemble the bed myself in about an hour. The instructions are good except for one step involving the middle metal beam which does not say which side should be facing up - I think this is why some reviews stated the metal foot got bent! The black padded side should be facing up as to reduce the noise when coming into contact with the slats, and the metal side facing down to have better contact with the metal foot. Thats what I think anyway.
My only complaint is the very odd placement of the support rail on the side of the bed. Perfect spot for toe stubbing ... other than that it was very easy to put together alone. Very happy with my guest bed purchase.
