The wood and size is great but we only have had it a few months and have to keep tightening it, dont think the quality of the hardware is great. We bought four our 4year old.
I purchase this bed for my five year old (his first big boy bed). I like that its low to the ground so if he were to fall it would not be too far from the floor. The quality of the wood is not great but it works for what i wanted it for (a five year old).
Ehh, will make it work but not accurate craftsmanship. Beautiful wood, easy to assemble but the middle support legs dont reach the ground by a half inch. Also, the outside middle legs are a quarter of an inch from the ground. Not worth the effort to return
I love how this bed looks. This is our third bed. The other two have been easy to assemble, but this one was tricky and I am afraid I ended by compromising the integrity of the head board leg during step 1 of the assembly which required the use of two screw types. One of the screws in the first step is longer and I accidentally used the long one where the short one should have been used. This caused the screw to pierce through the wood and the screw almost came out the other side and caused vertical cracks on the headboard leg. I reached to support, but I did not even receive a confirmation email about the support request.
I was so pleased that I was able to put it together by myself without any difficulty. It really was so easy! I do recommend this product. The wood is nicely finished. It is strong. They give you easy directions and all you need to put the bed together - one tool and screws with match on match directions.
Seems like a great hardwood bed. Great style. Very chic. I love hardwood and how it looks in my room. But, every few months, the bed gets shaky and I need to retighten the bolts. The metal legs underneath are always unaligned after a few nights of rest, and it needs to be readjusted. This has been going on for 2 years now. I would not recommend this bed frame. Easy to install, easy to move, lightweight, but not durable.
This is a sturdy bed frame and there are no creaks with it. Only negative is Ive stubbed my toe on the foot at the end of the bed a few times, because I grew used to having one of those old metal bed frames that sit recessed from the edge of the frame. I have noticed that the stain at the top of the slats on the headboard seem to be lacking the full amount of the stain, as the wood on every single slat is lighter at the top 1/4 where the vertical slat meets the top horizontal crossbar. Nice to be rid of noisy box springs, as Ive never had one that didnt crack or squeak within two years of purchase. It also high enough that its easy to slide storage bins underneath the bed.

Assembly wasnt too difficult.
