I was surprised how much thought and care went into this product, given that it only cost $120. The legs are real wood, sides are manufactured, the assembly was very straightforward and easy, and the final product looks really nice. Not only was everything nicely packed, the Styrofoam was wrapped in plastic to ensure it did not break and disperse into tiny little pieces. Furthermore, in addition to an alan wrench, they provide a mini-alan ratchet, which operated like a ratchet from a socket wrench set. It made assembly a breeze. I did have to out felt pads on the bottom of the legs, but this is only because I have hardwood floors.
Our new platform bed from is exactly what we needed. It arrived in perfect condition just 2 days after placing our order. The instructions for assembly were simple and clear and all holes lined up perfectly! The company even sent a small ratchet wrench as well as extra hardware. My husband and I had it assembled in less than 45 minutes. Were very impressed with the sturdy design and the attention to detail (the slats are even bound together with velcro which connects to velcro on the side rail supports.) The people of enclosed a nice note saying, in part, Thank you for putting us under the same roof with the things and people you love most. It is a great experience to be so impressed by a company.
The packaging was some of the best we have ever experienced from a company. They even supplied extra parts which were not necessary and tools to put the frame together. We were impressed by the ease of construction in putting the frame together. We like how the slats are connected together and then have Velcro on both of the slats and the frame so the slats do not move. The frame is very sturdy and secure. My daughter was very impressed and will be ordering one. Very nice piece of furniture!!
Hello, I am a 68-year-old female with arthritis. I was able to assemble the bed in under an hour. Simple instructions and a numbering system made it easy. The cute little rachet included was perfect for the job. I used the Allen wrench included in the kit just a little bit. Once the assembly was complete, I knew I had made the right choice with my purchase. The bed is solid wood; the design is very sturdy. I absolutely love it! I plan to make sort of a sofa out of it and also use it as a nap station.
Im very pleased with my purchase! The color turns out a bit lighter and more orange than the pics, which I dont mind. It was easy to assemble and light to move around, especially if you put cushion stickers under each leg to avoid them scratching the floor. Its been a month and still feels sturdy, though I havent had any heavy activities on it yet to confirm other reviews. Im a 110 lbs female.
