It is a very good looking bed. The directions could have been more clear. Two pieces were identical and it didnt mention to look for the two holes in one of them, so that set us back a little bit. Put it together in a little over 4 hours though. Not bad.
Son loves the blue color, the frame seems very solid. Easy for mom to assemble, other than one bolt that wouldnt thread, and two guard rails missing their pre/drilled holes (unless Im ly and just imagined they should have been there). One giant ding in the bottom rail, but its on the backside so were going to live with it at this price. Used 6 inch mattresses / that thin, and without a solid surface like a box spring, well probably add more support rails soon. Overall, a nice bed that hopefully lasts up to two hooligans.
Love the way this bunk bed looks in my daughters room. My only gripes are that 1) we received damaged pieces that were splintered and chipped and 2) putting this together was a way bigger pain than I ever could have imagined!

We purchased two and put them end to end. They look like built in bunk beds. I had seen that on PBs site and this was 1/6th the price. They are just gorgeous. They do need to air out as others have said. Ours are a surprise for the grandkids for Christmas. Hard to get a good picture, as they are big put together, but they fit perfectly in the room.
This bed it perfect! It looked good and went together in about two hours with a willing assistant. The wood all looked good and it appears to be very sturdy. Last night was the first night but it really does seem like a good bunk at a great price!
I was surprised by how solid the beds construction was. Everything went together very easily.
My 4 kids have been running this bed through the ringer for weeks now and there are no stability issues, squeaks, etc.

Ordered 2 of these bunks and theyre awesome / 1 for my 9 year old and 1 for my 3.5 year old. They arrived safely with no box damage, the freight company was great. 1 had a gash in the wood that was put in the box that way bc there was no damage to the box. They took my husband about an hour each to put together / he had to get a specially drilbit for his electric drill and said it was more ham worth it. We sincerely couldnt be happier with the beds, the wood is Good quality and sturdy.

enough to fit the screw so it was not fun to put together
The screws strip out really quick because the metal is so soft or the holes arent big enough to fit the screw so it was not fun to put together.
