This is my first review because I just want to help another parent debating if they should get this. It is perfect. I ordered Thursday it was delivered on Monday . Took me less than an hour to assemble and its perfect for distance learning and homework. Easy to move around.
I think the title summed up pretty much everything. The chair is ridiculously annoying. Very flimsy, the height lock does not remain locked in place and everytime we lift the chair it goes down again ughhhh so annoying. The light on the desk is also annoying- any light movement and it falls off. I mean come on! Table is decent. Very disappointed but too much work to return so got stuck with this junk!
1. I like the desk, but I would recommend a clip like structure on the book holder. Heavy books and tablets will not stay up.
2. Also a clip for the table when it is elevated to keep paper in place. My son had it up to paint and I had to take the paper to the table so that he could complete the project.
3. A way to lock the table and chair hieght in place. If you make a mistake and lift the table or chair to move it, it will raise and you will have to raise it up all the way, to then lower it to where you want it.
I would have rated this a 5 but the chair easily falls right back down even after you manage to lock it.. it need a better locking method other than pulling it up and tilting to the front to lock.
It was a little difficult to assemble because the instructions were difficult to follow and I had to work a little magic to put in the bolts/screws. It is very sturdy and well built. I couldn't figure out how to lower it but I found out how in the qanda. My daughter loves it.
Very nice and sturdy, my kids love the desks, and chairs. I ordered two and they are great. The height can be adjusted so my oldest child who is very tall can still use his desk.

Perfect desk for growing children.
I lobe this desk. Its strong and will grow with my daughter. Its perfect for her at home learning days and for drawing on her own time as well.
