The only reason this is getting 4 stars and not 5 is because the assembly directions were difficult to understand at times. Other than that, Im in love with this bed. Once I got it all put together it looks awesome. Its very functional with the . I just needed a little bit of extra storage, so I was pleased. I have yet to have any issues. I also got the headboard with the cubbies and they work great together.

Good solid bed, but the design has a couple of items Id like to mention that keep it from being perfect. First and most obvious (even from the photo) you cant open the at the head of the bed if you have a nightstand. I got the optional headboard shelf unit, which helped with that BUT, it doesnt attach to this unit, and therefore bangs around a lot. The worst part is the IMPOSSIBLE way to get the fitted sheet on it without wrec your hands. You need a foundation on this thing. Sure, they sell one for 200 more. But if youre planning on putting your mattress on the built/in foundation, youre ta your knuckles in your hands. LOL. When you put on the regular sheet, youll knuckle/down again. Its a drop of just a few inches, but enough to qualify as a bad design.
Next, when youre wal around the bed, youre going to smack your knees. The corners stick way out past the mattress, and it will happen. My wife was complaining about it, so after 2 years together, we switched sides. Then I started smac my knees. So I believe her. And I had to admit it! The funny thing is that neither of us are using any of the , which would be caught in the bedspread anyway.
It is slightly small. Ive tried two size mattresses and they both are wider than the bed frame and just barely the same length. Otherwise its as I hoped. If your mattress is slightly bigger than normal, itll be a tight fit.
Went together so fast and easily. The instructions were easy to understand and the quality of the fasteners and wood surprised me. For the price is a great bed. The are so handy and the slides move so smoothly when you shut or open them. The finish is very nice and the vbed is sturdy as heck. It was packaged so well and there was no damage at all when it came. I was surprised since most RTA furniture always has some issue when you get it opened. I never had any of these issues with this product.
