    Love this bed frame.

I normally do not post any product reviews, We live in a fairly small house, and the bedroom is pretty cramped, so upon seeing this bed with storage it was a no brainier and i ordered it without even thin about reading the reviews, After i had placed the order, i read the reviews and was worried i had perhaps made a mistake due to a lot of poor reviews. i almost cancelled the order but decided cant be that bad it took about a week to arrive, it came in 4 rather big and bulky boxes, (one i had to open out on the deck) as i could not get a grip on it to get it in to the house myself. i was not worried about getting any instructions as i normally just toss them to the side anyways, and i have had plenty of furniture, so assembly should be a no brainier as long as you take the time to check the alignment of the holes, but i will say it came with instructions, and everything was packed i heavy duty boxes, and foam to fill up all the gaps, (one of the boxes had a dent on the corner, but i assume that was from shipping/transport) but nothing inside the box had been damaged. Now as far as the parts, there is A LOT, a lot more than i expected, each drawer along with the rails, uses a total of 28 screws, 4 nails and 2 lock nuts. times 12 , so that alone took longer than the suggested 1/2 hour total assembly time. but i took my time, being careful not to force anything, or strip screw holes, since particle board tends to strip easy. after about 5.5 hours i had it assembled to get the mattress in place. with all that said, i love this bed, it is not solid oak or something super high quality wood, but for the price, storage and overall quality, it is by far worth it. it is TALL, with a 15 inch mattress, the top of the mattress is at my waist, so i have to do a bit of a jump to get up to it, (im 5.10) plenty of slats to accommodate a memory foam mattress, if i have any negative to say at all, i might be on the , the bottoms are very thin, so i dont expect it to hold any great weights, but i did assemble them as they should to give them a shot, and should they not be enough i will just replace the bottoms with some 3/4 material. but so far it holds up to all the things we use them for, (clothing and such) just make sure to put some time aside if you order this bed it does take some time to get it all together, but once assembled it is worth it. i have not had the bed for very long, but should my opinion change, i will put an update on here.

I really love this bed frame

I really love this bed frame. Its very sturdy and can withstand adult things in case anyone was wondering. It can be difficult to put together because if the bed frame is slightly crooked the wont fit right. If you work with it a bit though it all works really well. I had never had a bed without a box spring so I was nervous about that, but the bed sleeps super well and it looks really awesome. You can affix your own headboard to it as well which is really great. Overall I really like this and the storage space is excellent.

but for now it seems to be fine and I have slept on it perfectly

I am a woman with minimal tools and muscle and I put this bed together myself in 5 hours. 3 hours for the frame one night, and 2 hours for the another. I did get help hauling the 3 boxes that it came in into the house, those were heavy. No one helped me put the frame together, and it turned out loo just what I expected. There are no problems with it, except one of the is not closing fully. This is a problem I am sure I can fix given some time to inspect the issue and make sure things are aligned properly. I will give it some time, but for now it seems to be fine and I have slept on it perfectly. As long as you are not in a hurry and organize all of your pieces your fine.

composite board is terrible to take apart and put together

Very heavy piece of furniture. Dont plan on ever moving with this bed, composite board is terrible to take apart and put together. Had this over a year, moved twice still pretty sturdy as a guest bed.

    Good Enough and Content

I bought the bed for my 16 year old son and he headed the challenge of putting the bed together. We underestimated the time it would take to put it together, but roughly I would say 5 hours with some help from his mom and little sister. We didnt have any power tools so all the screwing was manual which added to our time. Expect to get frustrated. You will have to maneuver and be patient to get the pieces to line up. Unfortunately, like many others we also were missing pieces, but calling the manufacturer was quick and simple. They were kind and efficient in getting the missing parts to us. We did not take follow the suggestions by others to added the extra support and hardware, although, I suggested it to my son. So far so good. No squea and it seems firm enough. Overall my son is super happy with his new bed. It is was exactly what he wanted. A simple platform bed with extra storage space.

    easy enough to assemble

Cheap material, easy enough to assemble. It has a nice look to it, but dont think youll be able disassemble and reassemble without some pieces brea. Ive already had a couple little bits break off on the inside (that flaky sawdust and glue material that comes apart in your hands), but its held up for half a year. Four stars because you get what you pay for.

i like the bed frame but other that its a great bed frame

ok so if you buy this head board Brisbane Full Storage Wood Headboard, and this Mates Platform Storage Bed with keep the styrofoam cuz there will be a gap between this two so i cut one styrofoam in half and put it in between the box and the headboard and it will keep stuff from falling in between the headboard so you dont have to move the bed away from the headboard and owning this bed frame for 15 months am having a problem the planks that go under the bed are to short so if some one sit on the end of the bed the bed will go in the boxframe which the planks need to be longer

    Happy overall.

Very efficient. The downfall is no stabilizers to prevent the square bed from rac. Put too many items above the top line of the drawer it will move the board slats that support the mattress. Happy overall.
