The frame is sturdy, and works as we wanted; but the frame has squeaked from day one and continues to get worse as it ages. We may end up having to buy a new one just for quiet because it is starting to squeak loud enough to cause the wife to wake when I toss and turn. Marked down a star because of it.
Its heavy but feels sturdy. Easy ensamble. The only part I didnt like is The platform is actually a bit bigger than the mattress and since is metal the edges feels cold and like you can hurt yourself there very easily. I had to put a oversized mattress protector to cover the edges and I just ordered mattress skirt because without it looks too industrial

I got this frame so my son can store things under his bed and it allows that. His bed sits up high, which he likes and the frame is sturdy.
