Definitely need 2 people to assemble. I did it by myself but was not easy. Instructions say to have 2 people to assemble. Taps for bolts were difficult to thread into. One didnt thread in at all no matter what I did.

I wanted to give this a FIVE. UNFORTUNATELY, this furniture missed the mark. To be honest, the first shipment (I had no idea how many boxes were included, but there are three.two arrived together, and the third arrived just as I was about to return the furniture). So, review: the Convertible Chair Bed 3/in/1, arrived perfectly packed (although one box did not arrive with the others). One person can put this together, but recommend two. All pieces were in the boxes, but read the instructions carefully. The color (dark gray) is perfect. The furniture, when extended into a bed, or with the ottoman pulled out, is awkward to get into. The comfort is non/existent. This thing is hard as a park bench, and for anyones money, not worth the purchase price. It didnt get returned because I have back issues, and it was not worth the hassle. The pillows are soft. Thats about it. Sorry, but looks are deceiving. I would eliminate this item from the inventory, until its reimagined with stuffing and way to get in, and get out. Oh.the back does not support your head or neck.
A beautiful piece of furniture it is exactly as described. I feel it is overpriced due to the fact of needing to put it together. It is a struggle for one person to put it together and line up all of the holes with the screws.
Really nice and comfortable. it came in 3 boxes so it was managable to bring inside. Was very easy to assemble but the left and right sides were not marked correctly. But that was easy to see. I was very happy with it.
I was skeptical. Upon opening box I thought the fabric was too lightweight. After a day I decided I owed it the chance to check it out so removed it from box. I fell in love. It has a very cool mechanism to transform into a chair, lounger, bed, or remain simple as a large ottoman. The fabric is okay but thinner and softer than expected. Ill probably get a foam topper for sleeping but what a great concept. Mine came with side pockets on both sides including a phone pocket. Its a little heavy but will put gliders on bottom bars. I will most use this as a large poof to meditate on. Anyway, it works!
This was a great buy. Its easy to put together, sturdy, and a great solution for having occasional guests in a small room of a small house. The yellow is a good mustard color / not too bright / and the fabric is good. The foam used is hard for durability, so when it needs to be a bed, Ill do what another reviewer said and get a cot pad to add softness. I also wish we had a second color option for the small pillow. Im buying an additional decorative cover for that. If youre on the fence and need a sturdy twin bed option with a high weight limit, this is a great choice.
I purchased two of these chairs. They really look nice but dont look underneath them. Between missing screws, mismatched screw holes, weird identification on other parts, I just hope they hold up. The assembly directions would have been perfect if the construction matched up with the diagrams!
I cannot explain how much I love this chair. It is everything I have ever wanted, I use it constantly. It transitions from chaise to a bed so easily. Its PERFECT for movie nights or for guests. Its big enough for two people cuddling, too!
Assembly was kind of a handful, but not any more than I would expect for putting together a chair, I suppose.
Used for extra company. Like the look. Was frustrating to assemble due to predrilled holes not matching up with metal frame. Underneath carriage does not line up with front of chair.
