    Beautiful piece of furniture.

Looks way better in person than in the sales picture. Easy to assemble with assistance, you must have help.

Attach The Back To Get Rid Of Any Wobble

This came in a very big, very heavy box. It needs at least two to carry it, or a very strong person with a hand truck. Or you can cut it open where the delivery person put it, and carry each piece to where you want to assemble it. Even the two long pieces can easily be carried by a person of average strength. First, however, you must get the pieces out of the much nicer looking second box inside the outer box. I had to use a knife to cut both boxes open, and used a hack saw to cut apart the outer box when I threw it out. The inner box is a good enough mailing box, too, so anyone who thinks they might be sending the back, might want to carefully open a flap, and see if they can pull the pieces out that way. I just cut the center wide open, because I had no intention of sending it back. There is also lots of styrofoam in the boxes, the type that can easily crumble and leave little staticy pieces on everything. Remember that when you choose where to open the boxes. All the wood pieces of the were there and in fine shape, plus all the hardware was there, including one extra of each piece in a spare bag. All pieces and hardware were clearly marked, too. Putting the together turned out to be quiet easy, using the enclosed instruction book, which was mostly pictures. (All you need is a flathead screwdriver and a 2 Philips screwdriver.) The only problem I had assembling it was putting the top piece on, since all the cam pins and wood dowel had to fit into all the holes of the two sides and center piece. If I had to do it again, I think I would try attaching the top while the was still on its side, instead of ing it up, as instructed. After the top was on, I noticed the wobbled a bit. Not good if you are thinking of putting a big on it. Another reviewer on another product page for these s said when you put the thin back piece on, the wobbling would stop. That made no sense to me, but I attached the back piece, at first just putting in the top row of screws. The still wobbled. Next I put in the two corner bottom screws on each side of the . Wobble gone! So, make sure you attach the back with the cord holes, even if you didnt plan to do so, and wanted to leave the back wide open. (There is also a two/piece support under the center of the bottom panel.) The rustic oak color I got looks very nice. If you want another color, though, there is at least one other product page with more colors here at . (I would put a link, but there is no longer a link button to do so in reviews, only in comments. At least I dont have one.) Oh, almost forgot, the shelves were easy to place in the , too, and provide lots of space for more electronic equipment.

    Sturdy and nice looking

This console was very straightforward to put together; only needed another pair of hands once. It seems very sturdy and looks like a piece of furniture, unlike some of the RTA stuff Ive bought. It was a tad overpriced in my opinion, but I do like it. Im using it as storage and a bench for sitting and putting my shoes on. So far so good.

Time consuming to put together but very solid product when done.

Update: The little plastic shelf holders that slide into the holes in the sidewalls are flimsy and break over time / Recommend buying stronger ones to install. Cons: took about 12hrs all together to put together for one adult although I had some help the last couple hours. The book does call for two adults so it would be a little faster with two the whole time. The small screws for hinges are very hard to screw all the way in. Must be strong to turn screws at the end. The book doesnt explain anything in words. Its strictly visual diagrams. It was often difficult to figure out exactly what to do without some trial and error. The book also neglects to tell you when to put the door magnets on. They just start appearing installed in the diagrams at a certain point. And the biggie error on the websites is that it lists the depth as 30. The depth is only 17 until you add the 13 leaf extension then it is 30. The descriptions never mention that and we bought it because we thought it was going to be that big before extending. Pros: great design and sturdy, quality product when put together. All the screw holes lined up perfectly and doors and drawers hang and fit perfectly without adjustment. It looks great and is very functional.

    Great but unaligned

Exact match to three bed set, except the middle shelf did not line up and are slanted bc the holes werent assigned correctly. Aside from that very sturdy, and looks great with the bedroom set!

    Good product! Nice and sturdy!

This is a nice for the amount I paid for it. It was pretty simple to put together. My son and I did it together. It took us a while though. Whew! My only issue is one of the shelves is not even and I had to kinda shove it in instead of it fitting how its supposed to. It also came with an ugly scratch but I can live with that.

Take your time and get someone to help

First off let me start by saying that the box it comes in is very heavy so two people are needed. Unpacking the pieces and hardware will take you some time due to all the protection the has from scratches and breakage. Checked everything to make sure it was included. Best part was they included a black perm marker if there is scratches. Another good thing is they give you extra hardware in case you lose or they forgot to include something. My experience with the is its very easy to assemble except for step 7 in the book , dont say I didnt warn you , you have to turn to step 9 in order to figure out step 7. My suggestion is use a low torque drill to put the together , trust me it saves time and a lot of stress on your hands. I like it , I really do , its sturdy and does the job for whatever your needs are. Buy it , you wont regret it.
