My bought this for our teenage son. He loves it. Plenty big and looks great in his room. Freed up space for him to put 2 desks under it to study from. Fast shipping. Was super easy to assemble too!
Easy to put together, can be split into two beds if you prefer. Ladder can go on either side. It takes a little work to get it all square and firmly together. Be sure to tighten everything up after first couple of uses and check frequently with high energy kids.
This wasnt too bad to assemble. Im a gal and I am not super strong and I was able to build it by myself. However, the poor delivery guy couldnt get it off the truck! Definitely need a team of 2 or more to move the package.
The reason Im giving it 4 stars is that there is no entryway at the top of the ladders. I saw that in the photos and figured Id be able to nimbly climb over, but in reality its super awkward to climb over the guardrail! Ive bumped my head on the ceiling a couple times doing acrobatics to get into the bed.
Other than that, its super sturdy feeling, really good lookin, and a good height. If youre reasonably agile, this is a good bed for you.
Exceptional quality for the cost. With the two mattresses the whole setup will probably run $500. Im not gonna lie. If you arent experienced at assembling furniture this isnt a good beginner project. That being said, just follow the directions. Really. Like seriously. If you have an idea that youve figured out how it goes together and dont consult the booklet, you will be wrong, and pissed. Just follow it to the letter. I recommend paying close attention to the holes for the stairs (skip ahead in the directions and attaching the long horizontal rails, bottoms first with the vertical posts erect, instead of on the beds side as depicted in the booklet. My ceiling was entirely too low to flip once together. Its rock solid if you can tighten a bolt. I anticipate being able to breakdown and reassemble the unit as well, having taken care not to strip the bolts during assembly. One thing. The bed mechanism is a mother to operate at first with the mattress on top. Pull up on the back edge of the mattress while kneeling in the fold of the futon.
Purchased over a year ago. Love it. I put it together myself, no problems. My 7 year old son loves it. he has his computer and bookshelf underneath. It has started to get a few squeaks over time, but I could probably fix that with a little lube and a screwdriver. I put an 8 memory foam mattress in it. It is very comfortable and it wasnt too high. I was worried about putting a 6 mattress and being able to feel the bars or putting a bigger one and not having enough railing. The 8 was just right. Might even take up to a 10 if the sleeper isnt a big roller. We have 8 foot ceilings, and theres room for an adult to sit upright with no problem.
good value bunkbed and option to separate, built this myself but had to reverse some parts like where ladder goes, so pay attention to the holes in the bars.
I was sent 2 of the same leg posts with ore drilled holes, I had to manually make jokes for this to work or spend hours and days getting a replacement.
Once bed was finally put together its a decent bed, it does wobble when daughters climbs up.
This is a really sturdy and well-made futon/bunk bed. It was easy to put together by myself; I think it would be even easier with some help. It took me about 3 hours to put it together, but I took my time, so your mileage may vary.
I love these bowls! I bought the single bowl with the travel case and liked it so much that I bought these, too. The size is perfect and I like that they come in a variety of fun colors. I like that the bowl is made well and should last for quite some time. Really happy with this purchase!

A little awkward to get into bed, but pretty good otherwise
