Love the quality and sturdiness of these bunk beds. Installation was easy as I saw prior reviews and made sure the ladder and top rail were placed correctly. I was able to put this together myself in one evening but the snaps for the individual bars are a nightmare to get in. A few of them snapped into place easily but the rest were a nightmare. My husband had to finish that part. One of the stair rungs was defective and I had to contact the company for a replacement. They were courteous and we received the new part within days without any issues.
We have younger children and it is nice that these beds can hold our weight if needed. There is also plenty of headspace between top and bottom bunks. These will last us a lifetime.
We purchased this bunk bed for our 10 year old and 8 year old boys. I love the style and head room for the person sleeping on the bottom. The package arrived damage which UPS took responsibility for. One piece was bent and the ladder rails were missing from the box, possibly from shipping. I went to the web site and filled out a form to receive replacement parts and within a week they were at my door step. Great customer serve! The beds are solid and the boys are happy.
I was worried about putting this together after reading the reviews and seeing the plastic clips but it honestly took me about 20 minutes to do them all. Just make sure the clip is right side up, stick one side in, and apply pressure to the other side (I used the side of a pair of pliers against the plstic clip. I did have to unscrew two things (in the first step because I didnt think ahead about which side another hoel needed to face. I also have not jsu installded the ladder so I have no comment as far as its security/comfort. I put the mattress ont he bottom and laid down, I am short and heavy and is didnt move at all. No squeaking even when I was wiggling around.
Very easy to put together. Looked exactly as expected. Only days into using it a screw fell out of the ladder, a few days later two more screws fell out. I have put them back and it seems ok, but now we are continually checking it.
I did not purchase here because I found a better price else where. This is a great bed if you need some extra space. We actually bought for our almost 6 year old and created a hide out beneath it for him. He absolutely loves it and will hang out in his clubhouse for hours.
I was looking for a way to add vertical storage to our condo with 16 foot ceilings in the bedrooms. Then I remember seeing a loft bed on Pinterest. We bought this for storage of camping gear and coolers! This is in my work room and I have a 6 foot table that I have full use of underneath. We have everything stored in the big plastic bins and it is well under 200 lbs. We also raised the whole contraption from the floor about 2 feet with 4 pieces of 30 long PVC pipe we found that fit perfect around the bottom legs. We just drilled a hole in the legs and the pipe and pushed a really long screw and bolted it. If you do this make sure you position the holes properly so the screw end that sticks out is facing the the back so you wont catch yourself on it walking by. I wouldnt raise this for kids at all but if you are going to use it for storage it was the perfect solution. Also... Make sure you put this together in the EMPTY room that it is going in.
My daughter lives in it, it has become her lair. Two small glitches: one of the holes on a main crossmember didnt quite line up with the vertical tube on the railing. I drilled a new hole, and all is well. The infernal and deservingly maligned (not to say cursed work-of-the-devil plastic clips are, as described, inconsistent in their fit, and are a b... a b...well, I didnt put them all in. My daughter wont jump on the bed, and the clips are only to keep the mattress supports in holes into which they already are hooked, with mattress and child on top. You would need to turn the whole thing over the make the supports come out of their little sconces. The bed is solid, doesnt seem to need any additional shear bracing, and once its attached to the wall, is quite safe and solid in my opinion.
I bought this bed for my son and he is extremely happy with it as am I. The only thing that I dont particularly care for that my son agrees with is how thin the rails for the ladder are. Other than that very pleased.
There was one part that was missing I ended up with two of 1 rail and it was supposed to be two different ones. I dealt with the company directly as that is where it ended up coming from and they were very prompt in sending out the correct part immediately they only needed to know what the model number was and thats it No hassles at all.

Clips are not hard to install so dont let that discourage you from buying

Perfect storage solution for condo, where all you can go is UP!

Great product !!
Great buy enough room for a queen, sturdy, modern. Just alittle noise when movement but worth the buy. Give the room move space.
Id buy another one, now that Ive put one together.

Great bed for a young teenager. Especially for the price.
