My 6 year old loves his new bed. We recently moved and he needed more versatility for his room. He loves to sleep on top and then uses the bottom for playing video games. Also great for sleep overs. Would be nice if it came with the futon mattress instead of having to purchase separately, otherwise, very pleased with the purchase. Our two teen nephews put it together in less than 2 hours! Needs better support
This is a great bed but putting it together was another story. The instructions are not right. The image reference where and what pieces go together but it was opposite. (Im referring to a sticker) Because your put it together the way the instructions are telling you, you will be taking the bed back apart. Im giving it 4 stars because it is very hard to convert the futon part from bed to couch, it takes 2 people or one strong person to do this. But this is a very sturdy bed and NOT squeeky very pleasantly surprised
My 13 year old daughter has been using this for a year now and still loves it. No problems with the construction at all. The rungs make it hard for this mom to climb up to help with sheets, but there are fine for kids. Easy to assemble just takes a while
This was such a pain to put together. It took 3 adults over 4 hours to put together. About 2 hours into the process we noticed that a major part was incorrect. They put 3 G bars, and 1 F bar instead of 2 G and 2 F. We were not about to take the whole thing apart at that point so we had to jimmy rig the top bunk together. Since its not put together correctly I am afraid that the top bunk is not as secure as I would hope. It was very disappointing and I would not recommed buying a bunk bed online. Dont be cheap, like I was. Buy one from a furniture store and have them deal with the hell putting it together.Very disappointed with this purchase.
Summary: A great bed at a reasonable price / and now 100 less than when we purchased one in Feb 2010!
Pros: Sturdy, utilitarian bed. Reasonably easy assembly/disassembly. Not too heavy for moving. Excellent price now; we were a bit uncertain at 340, but for 250 this would be a great deal.
Cons: Nothing I can think of. I think this is a good option
I am very impressed with the quality of this bed. It is extremely well designed and very sturdy. I worked it by myself and it took me about 4 hours from start to finish. The instructions could have been a little clearer on which sides I was working on, On several occasions I had to backtrack and change positions of some of the poles. No big deal and those mistakes were easily corrected. For the price, the value is great. 2 people could put this together in 90 minutes. No tools necessary, all included in the box. It wouldnt hurt to use a drill with an Allen wrench bit for faster assembly. However, I did not use mine.

exactly bed everything arrived sooner than expected very easy to assemble it was a bit time consuming for my husband and brother to put together 3hrs there was a lot of parts and little pieces but the little pieces are to ensure optimum safety for the children sleeping in the bed This product is pretty decent for the price
I bought this bunk for my daughters who share a room. The youngest gets the smaller top bunk and my older daughter takes the bottom bunk. It is perfect for them and they love being able to share a room without having to be in the same bed! and came earlier than expected
My 5 year old son loves having a bunk bed. It was not that difficult to put together. One of the welding parts broke off within a week and mailed us out a new the next day. Its a little rickety but overall it feels very safe. The bottom futon is very easy to convert to couch and vice/versa. This is awesome!
Nice looking Bunk Bed. Love the full size bed on bottom. Took quite a bit of time to put together, but was at a great price.
Top bunk it a little bit difficult to make, ladders on end are a bit ackward, but functional. Easy setup and sturdy!
